When I first saw your mod uploaded in elder scrolls planet, I thought youve made a spell that turns somebody into a golden statue (you know, midas from greek mythology). But finally it's much better! keep up the good work man!

Perhaps a different .esp file that enables hostile mages to have these spells too, so it's not like you're the only one with the advantage.

@dsgamez Well, they are pretty strong, but they are a bitch to acquire, even the simpliest spell needs you to transmute gold and various other substances and the most powerfull spells need you to refine sigil stones.

You might be right there, but still, I think hostile mages with Master class in Destruction or such, should be able to do so too..

Kinda like in Deadly Reflexes.

I put the chance to 100% to test the mod out, got killed myself.. heh.

I only use mods that change a few animations and textures now.. nothing that actually changes the gameplay.

@dsgamez There's plenty of mods that gives other enemies spells.

It wouldn't be plausible for those creatures to have the spells. To even get them, as another poster put it, you have to travel across all of Tamriel to get ingredients for the spells. For the strongest spells you need sigil essences, which come from sigil stones. If you don't like a particular spell for being OP, then don't use it :)

For the spell you need troll fat and Cyrodillic Brandy, and i think u can upgrade it with more brandy (not for sure). You make it by making using the aurum reactor

i love have midas magic is a easy way to have a 'god like easy to kill everything character' but if you try to play sensibly with midas magic, with a large variety of the spells, it's too easy to beat the game :(

Those are lvl 1 goblins. They are dieing. Tougher enemies would put up a fight.

It's a spell, not a ring. And no, you can't wear it and carry it around with you, burning yourself as you go. And as you add more Cyrodiilic brandy, the spell gets deadlier and deadlier. It appears that there is no limit to the amount of brandy you can assimilate to make the residue that has the effect of adding this spell to your spellbook.

Ah ok...i've been trying to make a few mods right now...(you helped me alot mate thnx lol)but there's some errors though. When i boot the game, some of the items occur in a big yellow triangle (tes-cs error yepp i know lol) and i can't seem to keep stuff above the ground limit! there's no "invisible stopping thing". so stuff just falls through the ground! any help would be much appreciated! Love your mods!

Yes, there are tools for Maya imports. But it doesn't support animation (neither does blender). 3ds does.

There are several tools, Blender for Meshes, Nifscope for animations and particles, photoshop for textures, and TES-CS to pull it all together. :)

It's in the script. The spell checks to see if it's the caster and if it is, don't hurt me.
