  • @101011b ---Both the sound at beginning of the video and during is a cd I made thats edited with sounds from many different olf Halloween records. Sounds of Terror is in there too!

  • a router or laminate cutter works great to cut plexiglass. place tape wherever you want to drill holes

  • thanks, I think I will try clear 1 mil plastic so I can use it to hold candy

  • @Dudeamis --Hey, that's a good idea!

  • How did you cut the plexiglass?? I am trying to do this and am having difficulty trying to cut the plexiglass. Thanks.

  • @davematt56--- I used an exacto knife. You have to be very carefull or the plexiglass will splitt and break.

  • Where did you get the fixture for the light?

  • @danschaub -I bought it at Home Depot.

  • @CountStankus - Thanks

  • very cool idea, it looks awesome.

  • How big of a fog machine are you using?

  • @davematt56 ---I know that there are different sizes. I'm not sure what the exact size of mine is. I buy my fog machines from Party City. It's a pretty standard size fog machine.

  • @CountStankus Thank you. Now I am having a hard time finding a large cauldron. All I can find are the smaller ones. It stinks. I was really wanting to do this.

  • I purchased a planter pot then paper mache' on the outside to create my desired cauldron shape. works great and you are only limited by the size planter you use. Plastic ones that resemble terracotta are least expensive and you can still drill necessary holes

  • cant wait to do this thanks

  • @slowmotion1950 --Let me know if you have any questions!!!

  • Just copied your invention today with my 3 kids. They just can't way to put it on display. Thank you for your demonstration. I did not find any cauldron available here in Québec so I bought a plastic flower pot and painted it with black hammered paint... We'll be watching for your next project...

  • @gyzthewiz ----Fantastic! Glad you and your kids had fun.

  • Great idea...I'm thinking about doing a cauldron creep, but this would be good for a bottom layer beneath the stirring mechanism. Thanks

  • simple and very doable...!!!

  • @dragoncastle1 ---Yep, I have no idea how I thought of this. But I'm glad i did.

  • Cool set up. Good job!

  • Really smart!! Good work! :D
