The cereal I remeber most was "OJ" I always wanted to try that cereal. My grandmother kept offering me "O.J." and when I heard it I got so excited to get that cereal I always felt so dissapointed when I found out that, "O.J." meant "Orange Juice."

Ralston Purina's Human Foods Division has been around for many years, and is still around under Ralcorp as of 1994. They make food products for grocery stores; store brand of Oreos for example. As already mentioned Chex was originally a Ralston-Purina brand introduced in 1937 but Purina was producing breakfast cereal since 1902.

@trans8010 As for the history of Ninja Turtles Cereal the brand was introduced in 1989 and continued to be stocked on shelves until 1991-1992 when the popularity of the Turtles began to dwindle. The cereal was a lightly sweetened Rice Chex cereal with Marshmallows in the shape of a turtle and the weapons a star, sai, katana, and bo staff later on the pizza shape would be added. The main thing people remember were the premiums mainly the cereal bowls and mugs attached to the box via shrinkwrap.

AVGN wasn't the first person to make video reviews and throw humor in there. I make video reviews and add other gaming videos and add my own style of humor to them, not in the same style as those 2, probably more like CGR, but does that make me a hack? no. We're all inspired by different things. I was inspired by avgn IG and CGR try video reviews..

I remember when it came with a board game on the back which you could collect and for the whole thing outof 4 boxes, also, it used to bring turtle heads for your pencils, which I must still have around home somewhere. Man I can't believe he didn't cover the bowl promotion. Still have my Leo bowl after all these years. We'd go into stores back then and for a time there'd be a bowl pasted right on the front of the box all wrapped in plastiwrap. It was cool because since it was see through wrap you could pick out which turtle you wanted to go with your cereal.
