  • I LOVE WHEN THE TOP COMMENT IS RESPONDING TO SHIT THAT HAPPENED 4 PAGES AGO

  • press 6 to hear how babies are made lool

  • um, were they playing on an american football field on that first goal?

  • at 0:33 thats what she said.

  • I saw a similar comment on an earlier video and I absolutely agree...if these goals were any other league in the world, they would be considered some of the best ever, but since its the MLS people tend to ignore them...its a shame.

  • Press 3 for nipple biting

  • It's kinda sad that they where playing on a football field...

  • guys this is american soccer, of course its not as good as Europe but they want to play too, guys gatta chill with the hate and get a life

  • whats wrong with the field ? 0:08

  • @veryhandsomeboy American football field lol.

  • @veryhandsomeboy It's artificial surface, that's why the ball takes such a stupid bounce and why no sports (not just footy) should be played on it.

  • Commentator: Johnson!! Ohh YEAAAHHHSS!!

  • Real Salt Lake!!! WOOO!

  • #1 goal the announcers scorgasm haha

  • Most have been a boring year if these were the goals of the year.. just saying

  • 34-35 can be missedhearded

  • 0:11 "OH IT'S A BOUNCING BALL!!" yeh well done mate, most footballs bounce!

  • rodgers was the best one cause if wasn't off the volley yet it was the same distance.

  • @PspHacker4lyfe

yh but any one can score from that distance given the chance its just a volley is alot harder thats probably why will johnson got it

  • OHHHHHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSS

  • no one cares about the mexican league. so many european players come there...

  • once the yanks win the world cup they'll win it all the time

  • @aliwalker1990 probably because it was the first goal scored by a goalkeeper in mls history

  • definatelt think football is getting better in america, both the standard and with the poplularity, but how is that number 3 goal in the top goals of the season , it was keeper mistake and it wasnt even a shot

  • Why the hec os the pitch like that? it's football not american football!

  • @norwaydude6 why can you not spell? ever stop to think that the team that plays in that city shares a facility with a american football team? or due to conditions or circumstances they were forced to play on such a field... need to get out maybe read start thinking spell check or some shit so you don't look retarded

  • @ewilliams9 I hit the wrong button, Heck* Is*. Satisfied?

  • its not about how longs leagues have been around its the fact that americans have developed their soccer players in the college game which is nothing like the academy system europeans use. now that americans are starting to sign their academy players (mwanga najar) we're really gonna see an uptick in quality of play. give it 5 years.

  • wow, Didnt even know that some of the MLS footballclubs played on a americanfootball field, nice solution though...

  • the mls dont even has proper football ...soccer as the american fools say the no-3 goal was scored on a rugby ground

  • @savysavy13 grass is grass no matter how you look at you fuck

  • @savysavy13 You mean American football ground. I don't belive that Americans play rugby... or well atleast they aren't good at it so they don't have many pitches for rugby.

  • what are these ppl talkin about?...these goals are brilliant....europe my ass congrats to the players who scored these

  • this was pretty good even the last one

  • omg.. this is why mls sucks.. fucking pathetic goalies. all around

  • Comment removed

  • @mando18 I'm pretty sure you would better eh

  • @JokerLoke i dont even know you... and i think u would do better. sometimes mls has some nice goals.. but usual is flops or mistakes.

  • do people actually think that this is standard caliber of goals from european leagues like the bpl? that's fucking bullshit...these are spectacular goals the european league goals of the year are not years ahead of these

  • @MSMRU the goalie got lucky that the other goalie was an idiot.

  • @mando18 ok how bout the other 2?

  • standard.. fuck all special

  • Oh YEEEESSS!

  • Wow it's weird to see the gridiron on the field now...the MLS really has grown and developed a lot over a few years.

  • Comment removed

  • Funny how Danny Cepero got goal #3 and was then on the receiving end of goal #2 by Robbie Roggers Haha!

  • Funny how Danny Cepero goal #3 then was on the recieving end of #2 by robbie rogers... LOL

  • omg, will johnson beautiful execution

  • my family actually knows will johnson. my bro went to hs wit him and my family is good friends with him

  • @mitchtheawsome Cool story bro.

  • the goal at 0:31 looks alot like hamit altintop goal of the year

  • @ownagelord123 actually it looks nothing like it

  • @ownagelord123 yes it really does

  • Music?

  • OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!! lololol love the announcer

  • @CashSmeller i miss max bretos on fsc, too bad he left for espn news

  • number three was pure luck....

  • it's a fact that more and more people have started attending soccer games since the MLS was established...in another few years soccer could become a major sport in the United States, that and the fact that an influx of soccer loving immigrants has been arriving

  • @0:34 ... climax of the year 2008

  • 0:34 sounds like he cummed himself

  • You have to realize that in all of these European and South American countries, Soccer is the top sport. If you wan't to be a respected athlete, you become a soccer player. Here in the U.S., soccer comes after American Football, basketball, baseball and maybe even hockey. If those sports weren't the major ones, and our of the US athletic talent strives to be soccer players, US soccer would skyrocket and be one of the best national teams in the world.

  • 3 was a shit goal but 2 and especially 1 was a great goal well done MLS

  • AND mls has Salou, the technical wonder from woaregem

  • I love European football, I am frm Belgium. But the MLS is also GREAT! They have a good system where everybody is kinda equal.

  • "...surging forward again, nice ambitious ball, Johnson-

    OHHHH YEASSSS!!!!!!!!"

    lulz

  • la MLS es una porqueria de liga es la que tiene los peores equipos y jugadores del mundo el unico que se destaca es al madridista beckham...HALA MADRID

  • @djuliao1993 better than mexican league=) at least

  • @darefresh12 mexican league???? pfff HAHAHAHAH!!!! thats the 2nd worst

  • stfu u pussy european faggot, if ur born in america and every1 says soccer ur obviously r going to say it too. Also if you say "do u wanna play football (futbol) they're gonna think of american football. u hav a small penis

  • i actually use the terms american football and football. i have pretty much stopped refering to the game as soccer. i only have to correct people once when i say football and they think i mean american.

  • In some modicum of English, please.

  • well whats the big fuckin deal? we call it soccer, get over it. no one gives italy shit for calling it calcio.

  • bring it fucker HA

  • @pjimenez01

really? well the word was invented in europe so......are you gay then?

  • @pjimenez01 xd that's funny someone from europe beating in a fight someone from americaxD

  • ceperos a genius

  • This is goal of the year??!!! That would be a normal goal in Europe wtf

  • yea well this aint europe if u havent noticed dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • i live in america where its soccer and this is mls MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER you r a retarded piece of shit

  • and also your channel says your hobby is SOCCER not FOOTBALL so i guess your hobby is wrong then right???

  • seriously. i hate how everyone tries to bash the mls by comparing it to europe. they might want to consider that mls has been around for like 15 years as compared to the european leagues that have been around forever.

  • @jeffkeeper01 you know what that is absolutely true, and come to think of it, that point of the MLS being so young never hit me until I read your comment my friend.

  • @jeffkeeper01 i'm from south america... and let me tellyou something the difference about europe and our leagues (including MLS) is that they BUY our best players... the MLS is great! is really fun to watch, is better than the mexican and chilean leagues (not in quality of the players, but in the quality of the games, the teams are very well balanced)... i would just put brazil and of course the best leage argentina before the MLS

  • @deraickripper i sorta see the mls as a developmental league at this stage. it could very well grow beyond that, but it has produced some of the greatest american players that go over to Europe from the mls like Howard or Dempsey

  • @deraickripper what are you talking about mexican league is better than the mls just look at the attendance.

  • @deraickripper u must be stupid to actually think the mls is better than the Mexican league. Mexican teams can actually compete with clubs from south America while mls teams have trouble beating teams from the Caribbean. Mls is a joke, sure its improving, but its gonna take a long time.

  • @Aguilas415sfc i'm talking about the factor FUN in watching their games, sorry but i find way better THAT league than the mexican one, MEXICO is BETTER AND HAVE good teams that can beat any mls teams, but that does not matter if you are bored in some of the matches. the german league have way better teams thanmexico usa or my country chile. but for my is boring. i'm just saying than the mls IS really fun to watch, and that makes it BETTER if you are not from that country than another leagues

  • @deraickripper well if u like to watch boring mediocre soccer, of course the mls is good.

  • @jeffkeeper01 the fact that the MLS isnt as good as europe dosent mean you cant appreciate the goals and that some of these players are actually quite good. MLS established in the 90's, football/soccer in Europe established in the late 1800s. Also remember that this isnt their countries national sport. Keep it up USA. From LONDON, ENGLAND.

COME ON THE REAL SALT LAKE!!!

  • @RICH08XX appreciate that man, you're one of a few Brits i've seen that actually give us credit.. we'll get there someday soon. heck, we even ousted you guys for top of group C in WC2010 haha ;) it was only fitting that the cousins both went through tho, i just expected it to be you guys on top. either way, go English speaking nations wooooo!

  • @jeffkeeper01 I couldn't agree more. European football, especially England, has been around since the late 1700's ( not league of course ). More so, professional league play has been around since the 1800's. It's only natural that European football is more in tune with experience than the MLS. People need to give it time because this is not an overnight thing OR even a decade thing. It will take maybe 50 years or more for it to tune in. Stop bashing the MLS. Well said, mate.

  • @jeffkeeper01 would you rather play mls or in the EPL, Liga BBVA, Serie A, etc.

  • @jeffkeeper01 Exactly!

  • @jeffkeeper01 Not to mension that most Americans think football is something you play with the ball in your hands.

  • @jeffkeeper01 You can't just take the age of the leagues into consideration, it also has a lot to do with how much money there is. And the MLS in general has got better finances than MANY of the european leagues.

  • @jeffkeeper01 i tottally agree with you. I luv the mls. The atmosphere is soooo much better in the mls in my opinion.

  • @soccerbros16

    It's football

    MLS sucks

  • @RobertGoodFella it's soccer to the US, english speaking Canada, and Australia, it's just a word, it's all the same game. Besides the term soccer was first used by the English when they shortened Assocation Football to a slang word: soccer. Stop bitchin!

  • @soccerbros16 no this isn't Europe. This is the internet.

  • sorry but most of those would get into the MotD goal of the month, not season!

  • lol that's the goal of the year????? lol

  • Apparently you dont know great skill when you see it. ANY FOOTBALL FAN knows that it takes a great deal of technique to accomplish that from OUTSIDE THE BOX. You have to have the right amount of touch, eye the surrounding situation, pick your spot, and unleash a volley with just enough power so that it is accurate but at the same time it must be fast enough to beat the keeper.

  • If MLS is so great then why don't they get decent players coming over to play for their teams? The best they've had is David Beckham. THey could never DREAM of having someone of Gerrard's, Torres', Messi's, Ronaldo's or even Lampard's caliber. The English league is becoming close to if not the best league in the world.

  • it's beacuse MLS places too many restrictions

  • maybe because the MLS is a little over a decade old!?! Whats up with you MLS haters!?!? Let it develop for another 10-15 years than judge it. That is all i ask. Thats like going up to a eight year old soccer player and tell him he sucks and would get killed at the professional level.

Im sure english football wasnt all that great during its first decade

  • mmm fair enough but come on, its not all that good yet and if i was a pro i wouldnt want to play in the MLS

  • i never said MLS was a great(in terms of quality) league. I said it was a growing league. But you'd be surprised, alot of players(even foreigners) have used MLS as a stepping stone to the big leagues: Toja (Bucharest), Dempsey (Fulham), Howard (Manchester United then to Everton) Altidore (Villareal), Bocanegra (Rennes), Beasley (Rangers), Edu (Rangers), Guzan (Aston Villa), Ryan Nelson (Blackburn), Adu (Monaco), Szetela (Brescia), I would go on but Youtube limits my words :]

  • true, but no player would want to spend the climax of their career in the MLS

  • well thats not a complete knock on MLS. The same can be said of all leagues outside of EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. Take the Brazilian league for example, why stay in Brazil when you can play in Italy? It does not mean the Brazialian league sucks.

  • these arent foriegners ur just naming the u.s. national team

  • hey genius, Toja and Nelson arent on the US national team

  • Comment removed

  • haha why cant you admit you made a mistake earlier?

your accusing me of going into detail?!?! You wrote a ten word sentence!!!! Who is the one who said "these arent foriegners...." apparently someone didnt read into enough material

i could of listed more foreigners but youtube has a word count. I can name way more foreigners if you dont believe me. That way i can make you shut your stupid mouth up

  • whats with you Brits? Honestly. It's just a sport. It's not that popular in North America.

We don't complain about your basketball/American football/hockey/any other sport

i'd like to see England win a World Cup ;)

  • they play on footbal fields? haha

  • they wouldnt even get goal of the month in league 1 hehe

  • MLS is better than league 1

it's more like the League Championship

  • haha! no where near like the championship idiot. its more like league 1 or 2. there championship teams that can beat prem. i cant see a mls even coming close to beating one. eddie johnson plays for cardiff now and he was the best player in america. he cant even get in to the team here! but we still love him

  • best player in America??!?! he was good but not great. What is your media telling you? If you didnt know, there is a reason why he hasnt played for our national team in a whileeee. I dont mean to hate on Eddie but you guys are overating him

  • Comment removed

  • I like how brits venture over to an MLS youtube video to rag on it. It's funny. Must stem from jealousy.

    It obviously stems from jealousy.

  • yeah its funny How you yanks come over to our prem league vids to bitch to....It must stem from your jealousy. mahha

  • hey brits, great job during the Euro's you guys were amazing!!!!

  • that "#1" was shit. mcmanus' goal was waaay better.

  • that johnson. What a great goal!!

  • yeah i can see that

    MLs os gettin better though?!?

  • how cheap is it that they play a game of football on an american football pitch, thats fukin ridiculous

i wish they did a premier league top 3 goals kos it would wazz all over ur chips

  • LMFAO! Wazz on my chips? Thats a new one, I'm gonna have to write that one down. Yeah the thing i love about the premier league is that good goals happen every week.

  • some teams do that but there are some new football stadiums being built :)

  • the mls is a joke no one takes your league serious

  • so is the scottish

  • ya i agree.. i would compare it to the scottish league. But its all we have and i love it

  • i care and so do alot of Americans who are trying very hard to promote this beautiful sport. The hating from our anti-soccer(football) americans and intolerant europeans only make us try even harder to support our very young league.

  • i was there when will johnson scored it was sick but actually we are the 10th worst league

  • not really

i checked the rankings and MLS isn't even in the top 20 worst

  • you guys are all idiots. Rankings dont mean shit. USA is ranked 15th in the world but as much as i would like to believe that, its just not deserved.

The Pan Pacific Tournament proved MLS is not that bad. We sent our LAST PLACE club against China's, Korea's, and Japan's BEST clubs yet our club lost in the final due to an own goal and a shootout.

  • why should not the US get #15?

  • well the FIFA ranking system is flawed. Basically the more wins you get, the more points you get. But, USA's CONCACAF opponents are no where near the calibur of other continents. Dont get me wrong, I am a USMNT supporter till the end but lets face it, we have no world class stars on our team. Some of our starters are benchwarmers overseas. Our blue collar style of play is highly respectable but it can only take us so far.

  • i guess that's true

US should face South American or European teams more often

  • wow not to impressed

  • nice choices

  • Go Earthquakes! We'll be back on top in no time!

  • I love how cepero's goal was against columbus but roger's goal was against new york and the how they met in the final

  • just shows u how shit the MLS is. even a goalkeeper can score...deary me. the mls is worse than I thought

  • not the worst league around

  • 3rd worst league

after the togo and Thai league

    literally

  • 1 bad decision doesnt make a bad league

  • its very ignorant and just stupid to judge a league by one event

  • yeah i know rankings dont mean anything thats why real salt lake beat the chinese international team 4 to 0 with half of there reserves in

  • Lol XD ur right

  • what about the premeirship keeper, i don't know his name but i believe he played for aston villa, his teammate threw the ball in to him, and it was going right for his feet, he missed the ball and it went in the goal, it didn't bounce, he didn't slip, he just took a step and tried to play the ball and he missed it. does that make the premiership bad?

  • yeh peter enckleman, the finnish goalkeeper

that 1 incident is just a mistake from a throw in. complacency.

the premier league is consistently described as the best bvecause of its physicality and pace

  • Yah I saw that keeper's goal - his last name was Robinson, I beiieve.

  • not to take away from cepero, but that was a huge goalkeeper error

  • Agreed. Bad goalkeeping.

  • cepero's goal should've won

  • DANNY CEPEROOO BEAst

  • i like the third goal

  • jonston....OHHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA! 0:34

  • johnson's goal is awesome... these arent the best 3 goals though... so many good ones this season

  • nope 1 .. was not that good.. blanco made one better

  • TFC SHOULD OF HAD A GOAL IN THERE

  • Maybe Barrett's first as a Red?

  • ya or dannys volly

  • I still say Rohann Ricketts had the best goal. The one where he popped it up and got his leg around a defender. Totally Ronaldinho style.

Props to the goal keeper for score though

  • damn strait

  • haha almost looked like johnson didnt mean to do it, cepero's goal was brilliant too

  • i really dont like new york, yet i like red bull the drink

  • HAHAHAHA.

    that made my day.

  • sweet!

  • number three I personally think was the best. Thats a one in a million goal. He scored from across half AND hes a keeper!

  • yes, it was a great goal, but if the game was played on grass (instead of turf), there is no way the ball could have bounced that high over the keeper.
