The largest unnecessary waste of your tight tax base is wasted on police, courts (judges, lawyers, staff) prisons etc, all in the name of illegal prohibitions of any other intoxicant besides *liquors. The ninth amendment being the key to the fix, can eliminate that burden over night if we can over come the organized criminals desires in politics.
"The enumeration in the constitution of certain rights*, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people" BOR9
Now looking at the fourth amendment, to be secure in your property from unreasonable,,, an arbitray tax bill in the form of property tax is this unreasonable part.
The original intent to collect government funds was from commerce, trade between nations, states, businesses, products and services, not milking the home owners.
Prop 13 in California was a smoke screen to block the idea that ANY property tax on residential, private, non business related property, was unconstitutional.
@SlackerSlayer The Cayman Islands have very few taxes. One tax they have is a tariff. The other is a sales tax on residential property like buying an item from the store. There is a business property tax but it is capped at $5000yr not matter what size it is.
One more tax base fraus is the income / wages tax. Following the intent of the first thought of the first amendment, any so called "non profit org" shall be taxed a 10% tithe to the gov, is following that first though in the bill of rights. It was figured out in the early 1980s, if they did this one change, they could not excuse taxing incomes for their surplus they would have from those so called non profits. They pay a salary or wage, it profits,,, same goes for parasite religions. I'm done.
@jimbobubbadj atleast if you were homeless you could putz about the countrys rural areas probably unaccosted for the most part- especially if you didnt have a car
agree, property tax is much worse than income tax. so many "conservatives" are up to their eyeballs in debt, so they barely notice it.

@jimbobubbadj Are you suggesting we all move there. I'd rather change the corrupted system here.

@SlackerSlayer No I'm not. I'm simply using it as an example that high taxes are not necessary for a functioning society.

@SlackerSlayer I can agree with you here. Reefer and all drugs should be legalized. Prostitution should be also.

if you want to leave the system just become homeless...although if you do that, you should probably not live in a city

@1x93cm For now being homeless seems to be the only way out, no good choices to leave.
