I read recently that there is a hugely famous male actor that has a particular condition preventing him from reading the emotions on peoples faces. Often a small joke by an interviewer will fly over his head and he takes it literally and tries to respond, which causes him to appear uncomfortable. I am sure it's DeNiro. You can see instances of this in the rare interviews that he has done over the years. One with Michael Parkinson for instance. Here you can see Pfeiffer almost covering for him.
