Have you been on a weekend? Yes. You have. Sounds like you have some unfinished shadow work. You have not had first hand experience of it and are gossiping. MKP is a beautiful origination of real people. All I hear is rambling. Every thing you are saying is 2nd hand. I suggest you look at yourself and ask, why was I so triggered by the weekend. And why am I so afraid to do my work. I takes guts to do this work. What is the shadow behind this. I'll bet you never joined an I group.
Earthspirittiger I think you are proving this man's point. I don't know if you are involved in MKP but it seems like it. You somehow believe by insulting another man and dismissing his experience will somehow banish what threatens you. This is not an enlightened perspective. But I have seen this before you are insulting him because you love him, right? That's what is taught in MKP, abuse and then call it "love".
@logoself It's not insulting a man, it is telling the truth in love. The reason the world is such a mess is because truth is so obscure, it is difficult to find truth from fiction. I lost my self in the fiction that I create in my own mind from stories that I have made up all my life. The men I love and hang out with have been helping me rewrite that stories that I have been telling myself. The lies that I'm not good enough. That I have to be rich or powerful to be successful.
I'm sorry you lost your balls. Or did you just forget the point for signing up in the first place. Call your mummy maybe she can make it better. Have a good life.
In MKP there is talk about "shadow work" but again it is at best shallow. Blaming the victims for their abuse is not shadow work nor is it helpful to the man who feels victimized. When I see comments like the MKP comments here it reminds me to never advise any man to participate. Whatever good MKP does is canceled out by the arrogance and ignorance of many of it's membership. MKP has had a difficult time facing it's shadow by consistently denying it exists.
@logoself Shadow exists in all of us to one extent or another. I am not a victim although I was a victim of a father who sexual abused me and my sister. I was is therapy for 20 years with no results. In the 4 years I have been doing my work I have made tremendous recovery. I have made a full recovery from addiction. MKP was one of my tools. I am grateful for everyone that has been a blessing to me in my recovery. everyone. I encourage you to check out an open I Group in your area.
sgrtagr can you account for ALL men in MKP. I participated in MKP for over four years and in some igroups there was abuse and men denied it by accusing the victims of the abuses as "shadowey". This is not accountability this is evasive, and echoes the tendencies of a narcissitic personality as defined by the DSMR4. Do you need to believe in a shining an ideal so much that their can not be even a possibilty of even one man amoung thousands abusing another within MKP?
@BuddhistCults - Believe whatever you want. Nice bunch of unsubstantiated statements in your post. Watch out for those shadows behind the door, they're liable to jump out and bite you. If you look for darkness, you'll find it - even if you're looking right at the sun.

@BuddhistCults I'm not a MKP leader. I'm a man whose life has been completely transformed for the better by my 9 year involvement in MKP.The man I was 9 years ago was consumed by selfishness, fear, shame, and low self esteem. The man I am today loves broadly, and devotes countless hours each week in service to God and my brothers and sisters on this planet. MKP does not abuse men. Period. Men who see themselves as victims of society may view MKP as perpetrator. That doesn't make it true for all.
MKP has the classical hall marks common to all cults e.g. proseltysing-outreach, massive money making schemes, mission to save the planet-save people, secret teachings, strong hierarchal system, and most important of all large numbers of ex members alleging to have had various forms of negative experiences.
So you didn't appreciate the experience. Some men don't. It's not for everyone. The question I'd have for you is this: what is it about you that is so filled with angst that you would take on the name "MKP Abused Me"... and go to the trouble of creating and posting this here? The "abuse" you received during a training that's helped over 40,000 men over a quarter century - does that remind you of other abuse you've received in your life? Were you unconsciously looking to be abused again?
@sgrtagr Making this video is a way of warning innocent men of the dangers of MKP. it is about attempting to protect innocent man from perhaps being the next man to die after attending MKP event? Or the next man to be traumatised. You admit MKP is not for everyone. Thanks for your honesty. These vid's are for those people whom you admit MKP is not for. In your post you appear to be justifying MKP's abuse of innocent men. I am shocked by your worrying logic. Are you a MKP leader?
judgments based on a lack of data. perpetrators perpetrate from a victim space and thus feel justified/righteous in their perpetration. did the men you claim were humiliated learn that their behavior has negative consequences for others? ironic that you've found a way to speak your truth--did you get something from the w/e after all? have you spoken your truth to any of these men face to face? (this i judge to be sideways.) that's the lesson we try to teach on these weekends. blessings.
Of course I told them and repeadetly told them that's why I have resorted to going public. Truth is men are mislead about contents of mankind project weekends. Where does "Adventure Weekend" conjure up images of being containted in a darkened damp room for hours, sleep and food deprivation, and being verbally humiliated by groups of men surrounding you wearing black cloths? MKP tricks people into signing up for the weekend and plays military style mind tricks from beginign to end.

MKP is classified by Cult Watch groups as a cult.
MKP helped you and many others too.
Unfortunetly it has damaged many others as well.
