For this conversation, you need to transfer an A support from PoR between Ike and Soren. They also have to have an A support in RD.
For Sephiran, you need to deploy the Black Knight in Part 1 Endgame, you need to have Ike fight him in Part 3, chapter 7. they both need to survive it, obviously. Then, there's some new memory scenes you've unlocked, and there you go.

With this said, it is possible that Ike is gay, especially since there isn't any evidence pointing against it. There is no absolute proof that defines which gender Ike is sexually attracted to.

I think Soren and Ike's relationship has romantic implications (at least from Soren's side). They just seem to have a much deeper bond than something 'brotherly'. I mean, if a guy is overtly affectionate with another guy, people will just shrug it off as 'brotherly'? Why? How do you get this convo? Its like the only thing I have left to do before wrapping the game, and I've tried just about everything. Do you REALLY need the transfer from PoR?
Off the top of my mind, in .hack//G.U. Redemption, you can marry the main male character off with another male character at the end of the game. Even if you choose to marry your main character to someone else (all other options are female), this one male char (one of the main ones) is canon-ly in love with the main one and declares it multiple times during the game (through 2 of the 3 games).
They even gave him an steriotype gay voice in english dub... Poor Endrance.

I have a question. . .I've read online multiple times how to get this cutscene, and I've gotten Lehran, but not this... the only thing I could think that I may have done wrong is when you confront Michaiah for the first time and have Soren attack her, can Soren actually wound her to the point where she can't stay in battle, or does it not matter? Same with Pelleas. (Soren always manages to find a way to kill both)

@MentalMaladies I'm not thrilled with the term 'bromance' (it sounds silly, for one thing) but I have to agree. Too many people try to see pairings in every close relationship, straight or homosexual. I've been an offender myself, which I'm trying to change.
The key here is Soren's statement that he doesn't want to be treated as a child. That seems to say a lot about how Soren, at least, sees Ike's offer. A full assessment is hard with the limited expressions and body language.

Meh... I think it's something the fan decides... The conversations aren't something randomly made up, they're something that are made on purpose, to interest the readers. @TimeLegacy Unless the facts are specifically said in either the story or by the creator, it is up to the viewer to speculate and choose. Most writers actually encourage this, to help improve imagination.
With this said, it is possible that Ike is gay, especially since there isn't any evidence pointing against it. There is no absolute proof that defines which gender Ike is sexually attracted to.
Either way, he is an awesome character, whichever his sexual orientation is. GO IKE!

I think Soren and Ike's relationship has romantic implications (at least from Soren's side). They just seem to have a much deeper bond than something 'brotherly'. I mean, if a guy is overtly affectionate with another guy, people will just shrug it off as 'brotherly'? Why? Sometimes, it feels like people don't want to think about two males actually falling in love with each other so they just go, "oh yeah, they're like brothers, not lovers!"

Ike and Soren are best friends. That's all there is too it. The best of friends will always be close. That doesn't make them gay.
Numerous other characters in the series whether both are the same gender or different genders, can be good friends without literally being romantically involved in such a way. Love, yes, but brotherly love. Soren and Ike aren't really brothers, but they're close like brothers.

I'm not a Yaoi fan and I do think Soren loves Ike. I also think that Ike loves Soren, but, not the kind of love your thinking about. I think of it as a brotherly love. that is it, they're just brothers, and I'm not sure about anyone else out there but, I think it's sick when the Yaoi fans have two brothers as 'lovers'. (E.G. Boromir and Faramir. Sick minded fans do it all the time.)
They also do have a relationship. They're family, and there is no denying that.

Off the top of my mind, in .hack//G.U. Redemption, you can marry the main male character off with another male character at the end of the game. Even if you choose to marry your main character to someone else (all other options are female), this one male char (one of the main ones) is canon-ly in love with the main one and declares it multiple times during the game (through 2 of the 3 games).
They even gave him an steriotype gay voice in english dub... Poor Endrance.

I have a question. . .I've read online multiple times how to get this cutscene, and I've gotten Lehran, but not this... the only thing I could think that I may have done wrong is when you confront Michaiah for the first time and have Soren attack her, can Soren actually wound her to the point where she can't stay in battle, or does it not matter? Same with Pelleas. (Soren always manages to find a way to kill both)

@MentalMaladies I'm not thrilled with the term 'bromance' (it sounds silly, for one thing) but I have to agree. Too many people try to see pairings in every close relationship, straight or homosexual. I've been an offender myself, which I'm trying to change.
The key here is Soren's statement that he doesn't want to be treated as a child. That seems to say a lot about how Soren, at least, sees Ike's offer. A full assessment is hard with the limited expressions and body language.

Meh... I think it's something the fan decides... The conversations aren't something randomly made up, they're something that are made on purpose, to interest the readers. Either they're gay, or these are characters who aren't afraid to be supportive of each other. I personally prefer the first, but I'm not going to go around like a chicken with my head cut off saying that the game totally proves it or anything. It would prove it if it actually has them kiss or something...

Dude, I love how people are actually fighting over whether Ike and Soren are gay or not. Really? It doesn't say in the game. There are implications. It's all whatever the player wants.
My own personal opinion is that Ike isn't interested in either gender. He seems more like the reasonable type who is attracted to the soul instead of the gender. Soren, too, seems not to care about gender. He's undeniably attached to Ike, though, and I can see him loving Ike.

In an info conversation with zihark and ilyana in PoR, zihark reveals ilyana is a celebrity among men. Men are attracted to her cute looks then she steals their food. When zihark takes her out to lunch he tells her to thank everyone she stole from, and she started saying "IKE, lance, sword guy?" And blah blah blah. :D
