the animal special effects always suck. hope this one is better. why can't they just get a trained condor or pay hollywood to make them an animatronic condor like jurassic park. worst cgi effects for the condor since forever.
I just finished watching the 2006 version now there is a 2008 version. Can't wait to see!! I just want to see which of the previous version is as good as those produced just recently. Intresting to see the many version of this storyline.
hmm ariel's impression to me is a sort of weaker cuter character. but her as huang rong? thats something to look fwd to! and this story can see hu ge and her wif more martial arts! wooo~ i wonder how the show will turn out =D

I think this will be pretty good, but I really liked Yang Li Ping as Mei Chao Feng. I also thought that Li Ya Peng looked like a Guo Jing. I hope Hu Ge will do a good job though.
is there are diffrence between Loch and ROCH? or is there any conncetion between thoose stories at all? i got a bit confused about that both of the drama was about condor hero , only diffrens is legend and return. wondering since the names is pretty the same
LOCH is about Guo Jing and Huang Rong, with the main antagonist as Yang Guo. ROCH is about Yang Guo's son. The two are the first two books in a simi-trilogy by Jin Yong.
I think the reason is more because the books were amazing and people always want to watch new interpertations of the drama. Though I have to say, it's almost impossible to beat the one with Barbara Yung in the 80's.
would it be better if they relase LOCH 03 and this LOCH then ROCH and the story will be well orginize and people wont get confuse whats going on about Guo ying family lifes...lol

@wutcuh I grew up watching the Hong Kong 1994? version with Julian and Athena, I swear the animal effects has NOT improved. Very disappointing.

I think he did act in a modern drama with Vivian Hsu - Till Death Do Us Part. But it wasn't as well-received as his wuxia dramas.
