  • Hey gregdigger. For my birthday, I finally got a metal detector. I found a 500 yen coin and a 10 yen coin. I also found a lot of nails!

  • Oh..Happy birthday to you and congrat's on your finds! Good luck on your next hunt.

  • Ah..what kind of metal detector did you get?

  • Thanks Eucitzen.

Well..i'm not really sure about older places.

Of course there are many legend of hidden treasure and these maps here in Japan.

But i still want to MD'ing on a beach and in the field. i haven't come across any golds yet...hehe. HHunting.

  • wow awesome video! nice to see another detectorist from another country outside the US and England. I shall be watching your further videos with great interest

  • Gregdigger, I didn't get a metal detector yet, but I'm probably going to get one for my birthday. Which is in two more days! I'll keep you updated though.

  • Thanks KCHitty. Happy birthday to you and happy hunt. I'm sure you'll addicted to it soon.

  • Very nice video and finds!

  • Thanks Coins4Cheese for me that you did describe about yen equivalent to fishercz20. how's your metal detecting going? did you find something valuable yet? HH.

  • What is a Yen equivalent to in US dollars?

  • 1 yen- one cent

    5 yen- five cents

    10 yen- 10 cents

    50 yen- 50 cents

    100 yen- 100 cents- 1 dollar

    500 yen- 500 cents- 5 dollars

Just take away the last two number's of the yen, and the numbers that are left is about the dollar equivalent. But for two didget yen, like 10 yen and 50 yen, it's just 10 cents and 50 cents.

  • Thanks fishercz20. As you see that Coins4Cheese described about yen equivalent for me. HH

  • Congrat"s on all your nice finds! Great vid! Japan is a very nice place. HHUNTING !! PAT

  • Thanks PAT. Yeah, I'm lucky so far, but i haven't come across gold ring and valuable relic yet...hehe. HH
