  • @woofboiiiiiiiibobbb the black wire is your ground. the red wire hooks to one terminal on the switch the other terminal goes to +12v

  • hey man, great video! I was wondering if i could get some help/ advice, I am a total noob when it comes to this wiring stuff, I have an LED light bar that came with a 12v plug (one for your cigarette lighter port) I was wondering how to wire a toggle switch into the wire and then hardwire it instead of using the 12v plug. Thanks!

  • Hey I want to wire a switch in my 02 Lexus ES300 for custom LED DRL Strips that I am going to install. I was wondering if you could help me on where to go through the firewall so I can install a switch by the steering wheel. Thanks.

  • @megafast13 look around on the firewall on the engine side, there should be a rubber grommet somewhere. there maybe stock wiring going through it or it may be just an empty grommet, just take a metal clothes hanger cut it straiten it out and poke it through the grommet and pull your wires

  • hey man u know how to install a kill switch for speakers i try hoking it to the stereo but it turns the whole amp off and i got to turn the stereo off and on again to make it work again. i wanted for some speakers i got on the grill of my truck

  • @wysackyjr samsung impression? it kinda sucks! like thet texting on it is horrible! i got sick of it. now i have an unlocked tmobile g1 and i love it so much better!

  • Hey man im trying to do the same thing with a toggle switch except with LEDs. Do i put the positive from the power source into one terminal and the other into the LEDs?

  • @MaxVolumeify yeah you have the + from the battery go to the one terminal on the switch then from the other terminal to the + of the leds then you just attach the ground to a ground

  • Nice vid I got some neons and have a two prong toggle I was wondering if u could make a vid shoing how u wire it from the bat bak to the switch plz and thanks

  • where is it that ur gettin ur power from though to send power thru the switch into the object of use?

  • @bassline123456789 where is the power coming from? your battery. you run a line from ur battery through a fuse to the switch then to whatever your wiring to the switch

  • @DrEwBaBy625 well i no ur battery lol, but what fuse? ive heard ive heard i shuld go off the cig lighter fuse, but u seem to no more then the other person about this stuff so i didnt no if u knew any other ways or better ways

  • @bassline123456789 well you can go off your cig lighter but you just have to make sure whatever your powering with it wont blow the fuse, like if your hooking up 2 100w lights thats 16.6A so if you have a 10A fuse its going to blow and you never want to put in a bigger fuse cause then you run the risk of burning up your wires. if you want to hook it to the battery you can go to advanced auto or radio shack and they have an assortment of inline fuses.

  • @DrEwBaBy625 o ok, i have these sheap neon lights that plug into the lighter, how much do those inline fuses run about?

  • @bassline123456789 well if there neons there not a real high amperage draw do you could just run off the cig lighter but be sure to test for + or - cause on one of mine the black was positive and i fried somthing. not sure how much that would run you

  • @DrEwBaBy625 o ight, good tip, ill make sure to keep it in mind while hookin it up

  • great video thnks! :) haha u got a shit load of different buttons in that truck.

  • Sweet man. You've got talent!

  • pretty helpful, thanks 4 postin

  • thanks so much for takin ur time to make this very good thanks
