I like your ideas. I am actually writing a paper about exactly what you said regarding the United Nations. I think it is capable of achieving a lot and helping the world but the power structure is just supporting the interests of member nations. Hopefully that changes soon and we can start working on the real issues in the world.

Unfortunatley negative comments try to find their way into actions that are taken for the betterment. What will the leaders do with the information? Have some faith.477 responded. They tell one person, and it dominos with or without the UN -the message is out. Please stop the angered, negative comments. These are general -what do you expect in a few minutes. At the UN talk detail- Negative person- Don't judge and criticize. These are positive actions. Its a start.

I like the perspective that this video took. The UN has always been regarded unquestionably as the body that represents a future of peace and hope. To actually question it is so important and so necessarily thought-provoking. Thank you for having the courage to do this.

I was actually trying to demonstrate that your criticism is not unwarranted - and in doing so, was hoping you might see how my message (as simple as it may be) is a call to bring actual efforts to materialize the fluffy words, and give real meaning to the typical depressing pictures we are constantly berated with by the media.

There is no single solution. All of our ideas together are lovely, but with no will to actually act on them - what use are they?

Probably it was one of the people who did´t get the so dreamed free trip to NYC. But it´s fine, my friends ambassadors and I got to meet Mr. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. The person we actually care for the opinion. I certainly do not care for commentaries about religion. NOT WHATSOEVER. Frankly, there seems little reason for criticism. These are all amateur videos, made by regular people. Even the greatest philosophical minds cant wrap their heads around international politics. How do you expect these 3 minute videos to represent an entire global conscience?

Please, be glad that there have been so many submissions. Be glad political idealism and hope still exists. Unnecessary criticism gets us nowhere. Keep making videos. Youtube is the medium where more people will be influenced by your ideas - not a concert in New York. This contest alone has publicized all of your works. Visibility is the real benefit, isn't it? How about sharing in the global dialog to promote human rights, civil liberties, etc?

You're right. They should have asked these amateur artists to SOLVE problems, not make inspirational videos about them. I mean, what can individuals across the globe do except draft meaningful long-term plans for improving global life? Certainly not make a five minute video trying to get more youth involvement.
