  • No se oye!

  • Thanks for sharing the vid, good to see some people can be creative rather than simply destructive or critical.

  • zupę chińską grzejesz?

  • Wow, creative idea! Recycling gay-parade umbrellas to cooking devices :)

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You It's very cool thing! It's handy and reliable. It is a solar cooker under sunny and an umbrella on rainy day

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing It's very cool thing! It's handy and reliable. It is a solar cooker under sunny and an umbrella on rainy day

  • show me a video with it boiling water from start to finish

  • ahh so your the infemous tin foil and umbrella thief

  • Now... mount it to a stirling engine... :p

  • You guys must not have wind in Korea....That thing would not last a minute in the winds in Texas. It would either go rolling uncontrolably across the flatlands or if you had it anchored it would just rip to shreds like tissue in a wind tunnle.....Perhaps a smaller cooker, one with less of a profile or lower to the ground?

  • Works good as long as the wind is not blowing.

  • What prevents somebody from getting an old unbrella and some mylar and just building one themselves?

  • @cdltpx OMG! i was so excited to make my own with tinfoil which i was ready to go out and buy BUT u reminded me of a huge box of mylar balloons i have! thanks for the post, hope it works for my students

  • 1:33 he looked into the light -.-

  • Thanks for your comments and I appreciate it.

Yes, you are right. It is weak when you are using it on a windy day.

We redesigned tripod and pegs. It is a lot better than previous one.

Please check install video on my channel if you are interested in.

  • Seems very handy, unless ofcourse it's very windy outside...

  • Looks a bit flimsy. Don't think a pot for my family would be able to sit on that :)

  • yes, making food on the sidewalk :D

  • I am doing a small project in solar cooker and I hope if you can help me .

  • Hi, I am planning to make a solar oven and gluing aluminum foil to the sides of a box....do you know if the glue gets too hot from the cooking if it will cause toxic gas to contaminate the food? is there a certain type of glue i should use?

  • @HandsomeSasquatch Hi, the reflectors, mirror or aluminum foil, are not hot because they reflect the sun not absorb but I recommend you to use two-sided tape if you can. All sun lays are concentrated on forcal area where is hot and you put the pot for cooking.

  • @apexwave Sun lays, like the chip? I guess they let them sit in the sun until they're done.

  • I looked up your parabolic umbrella on ebay. $260 each, plus shipping. The manufacturer you buy them from (on alibaba, and mbendi Triple Solutions LP) both list MSRP at between $90 - $160 each. Why the big jack up on the price?

  • @SororThothma

Hello, the price depends on quanities. We are the manufacturer in Korea, eneropto.com, it is in Korean but you can see some info in English too.

  • Nice work!

How heavy of a cooking container will it hold? And, is there a way to counterbalance it?

  • @SororThothma

You can put 6-7lbs food on it. This video shows old model but if you send me your email address, I'll send some information about it.

  • How cute and clever. The solar cooker's not bad, too.

  • Amazing! Where can I buy it?

  • @beniluna

Thanks for your interests in our solar cooker.

You can get it from e-bay. If you type in 'umbrella solar cooker" on e-bay, you can find it easily.

    It is really cooooooool.

  • @apexwave lol, its not, "cooooooool," it's HOT.

Merci

    richard

  • IS THIS SOLAR FAG COLORS??? I DON'T WANT TO BUY ! I THINK IS MARICONES COLORS.

  • You should make a collapsable circular trellis to set it in, low center of gravity. If it could clip on at any position that would be cool as well

  • it seems to be really useful but the important part is missing !!!

I guess you re going to get a lot of orders if you actually show that you can cook something using this solar cooker here on Youtube !!!

  • @googamuuga

    Thanks for your comments.

There are few videos on youtube which show frying egg, boiling water, and melting snows.

If you find all my vidoes, you can see them.

    Enjoy with them!!!

  • did you make that?

  • @leviamenra

Yes, we did. We are selling this item on ebay.
