And I appreciate your liking the idea of Pandeism accounting for the components of other theistic beliefs, even if you don't see yourself believing it.
So I think that's pretty much all the comment I have.... again, thank you for giving your thoughts on the subject, and, naturally, for your oh-so-brief (but scintillating) nudity, an absolute gift to the world (and beautifully edited as well).
Many Pandeists (at least, in my circle) are not at all keen on adopting the baggage of the word 'God' and use other terms to convey the concept-- technical term like 'the Deus' or 'the Motive Force.' But 'Creator' is a generally inoffensive alternative.
And to be clear, we do not propose a 'designer' who decreed where planets would sit or which animals would evolve from what, but ONLY one which set parameters of forces like gravity, electromagnetism, and whatever holds quarks or atoms together.
I will confess, as well, that we as Pandeists do understand the distaste for using seemingly loaded terminology -- some Pandeists go ahead and call this force 'God' (for example, Bernard Haisch in his 'God Theory' writes:
"What I propose is an infinite conscious intelligence—so let's call it God—who has infinite potential, whose ideas become the laws of physics of our universe and others, and whose purpose in so doing is the transformation of potential into experience."
And thank you for calling my blog post 'well written' -- I don't know about that but I'll take your word.
Now, does some power hold our Universe together? Well, conventionally we identify gravity on large scales and the nuclear forces on smaller scales as having that function. But the question remains, why do these operate? And you're right, we don't know and possibly can't know.... but Pandeism is one theory.
Hey you!! Hey, sorry it took me suuuuch a long time to get back to you.... so thanks for reading my essay and making the vid. I will observe firstly that you are obviously somebody fun to drink wine with, and if I make it 'across the pond' that'll be my first goal.
Now you make some good points, and I'll try to address those seriously here.
Firstly, I will concede that unlike some theisms, Pandeism doesn't propose punishment of nonbelievers, so I have no ill feeling toward atheists/agnostics.
I notice that you apologise a lot in your video. Your opinion about stuff is valid and you make some good points. There's absolutely no need for you to apologise.
Interesting. Twitter suggested that I follow you and that indirectly lead me here.... The idea of a single creator is much more intuitively appealing, but as Laplace so succinctly stated, "I have no need for that hypothesis". What then would I do with group of creators? It has no advantage and is more exponentially more convoluted.
I didn't follow exactly, but what holds the universe together to the best of our understanding are Gravity, Weak and Strong Nuclear Force and Electromagnetism :)

What you say basically makes sense - but you need to say it with a bit more confidence.

I think the universe has no mind or thoughts at all.

Not to be confused with ANDY PANDEISM, which is the worship of an obscure, forgotten Walter Lantz cartoon character from the 1940s.
