it's called defending your spot, and i think he did nothing wrong (except the crash). If you know you are faster out of a corner, why you should not drive infront of him then? Obviously he is faster out of the corners, because he turns in later, but can go on the throtlle much earlier, while Conor takes the inside line, but in mid corner he will get more to the outside, and can't go as early on the throtlle as 51.

He wasn't that bad before the crash, but he was cutting it super close...when you're as fast as he was, on that oval, there's no need to pinch someone that much every time. I mean, I wasn't driving his car, so it may have been fading, but...that's why he crashed in my opinion.
