Type O Negative - Blood and Fire Live!

This and 'Suspended in Dusk' are my favorite TON songs (the 'Out of the Ashes' version). Listening to this live version makes me think of 'Run to You' by Bryan Adams when they go to the two breakdown parts. Kenny's tone is nearly identical to Adams' studio version of 'Run to You'.

Weird. They (TON) probably had a good laugh over that.

Am I the only one who Moonspell reminds Type O Negative? No like that one is better than the other one... it's just that I think is Type O Negative like the best band of this gothic style before the 2000's and Moonspell like the best one of this age.

The reason that they did not play this song in many many years was that some of the guys hated it. I think i was Josh?!?  It is written in the interview in the Bloddy Kisses re-issue (the one with the bonus cd) booklet. A good read by the way...

This was Type O Negative at their peak - in terms of their abilities on stage. It's almost painful to atch, seeing all of them so young and in such good health (especially Pete - but they all look so young). It's so evident that 15 years certainly took a toll on them... and unfortunately, Pete paid the ultimate price.
