if i were to get an atv today i think it'd be the renegade 800. i just wish they offered it in semi-auto or manful clutch. not a big fan of belt drive. kinda makes things boring, and wastes horsepower

@markusx2468 no, it doesn't, it helps keep you in the peak power range perfectly. trust me, I first owned an old Honda 250, didn't even know what year it was (manual clutch), then a 89 Bayou 300 4x4 (clutchless manual), then an 07 Honda 420 Rancher with the electric shift (basically a manual where you push a button to shift, it's automatic mode didn't work for shit on trails, it could never find the right gear) and now own a '10 Grizzly 550 and these new CVTs are AMAZING

Thia ain't no kit. Just take a Garrett GT22 turbo, put on a Motec ecu, tune it, and you're fast.

Yes it is a Motec. The microsquirt didn't work out, worked on it for 3 mos. Put on a Motec, had it running in a hour, and it has been running ever since.

Yes, some of the streetbike motored quads do weigh 350, drag chassis, no suspension, ain't nuthin but a motor and a frame. In heads up racin', it's run whatcha brung, and hope you brung enough, if they don't have an auto, they can switch over, no rules against that. The fast quads are autos, btw.

You're right, not all of 'em, but like he said, clutch bikes have the chance of missing a gear, and in drag racing, if it's close, you're outrun. Autos are more consistent for that reason, and with enough power, they are deadly.

I went to Busco last weekend and there were 2 turbo renegades, which one was you? One had snorkels and look kinda lowered and the other one had a wheelie bar. I gave a run for the money to the one with snorkels on my buddy's 75whp raptor 760r.
