No, co-op is available from the get go, it's just that some missions are 1p only.

Dead Space on the Wii is a good one, House Of The Dead Overkill is awesome, the sequel to this as I say, but then that's about it.

Surprisingly, there's not a lot of choice, which is a shame because it's pretty much the only thing that works 100% on the Wii.

Zapper's a plastic shell so technically it works for everything, but if memory serves the 2 Resi's do have an optimised control method for the Zapper, I can't remember if Dead Space does and I've never played Ghost Squad because I heard it was super short.

Obviously it's your call, but HOTD:O took me and my brother ages to get everything.

Have you reviewed any of the classic Resident Evil games? You seem to be a big fan, so I'd like to see some of your reviews of the classics. Maybe even the very first one with the legendary "Jill Sandwich" line?

Keep meaning to do the 7 of them but keep forgetting. Mainly because it's 7 of them, I hate reviewing sequels as there's usually so little to say and all come off as samey.

why do rail shooters have to use the nunchuck? the nunchuck in my opinion is the most horrible piece of hardware ever. i mean sure it works in normal fps but when it comes to a game like red steel 2 its horrible. and on rail shooters i like playing on coop but using both myself. with the nunchuck u just cant -.- the nunchuck should have been just like the wii mote but with an analogue. wireless and w/ motion plus itself.

I just preferred the gameplay. I enjoyed DC more than most Wii games, but the story was meh (I really hate Leon), and some bits were shit, like the lack of co-op on the extras! :(

No way, HOTDO is easily the best of the genre on Wii, however Darkside (The sequel to this) is amazing as well, and this is good.

Nice review exsplains the games exactly love ur accept lol I didn't hear anything that was naughty. And Re games r always rated M so I think ppl know about it so there's no need for warnings really. I don't think think the series has that much spoilers. Wish u would have explained how u do certain kills I don't even have a wii :( u gonna play Redc when u get it?

The warnings go on for subs not general public because I have a lot of kid subs and some parents sub for there kids.

I don't know what you mean about certain kills though, you literally point and shoot and when you're not doing that you're slashing with the knife.

There really is nothing else to it.

I'll be doing RE:DC although looking at it, it looks terrible because of the new camera.

Oh I c guess u do need warnings then u said something about killing a certain character but it's spoilers. That's what I meant yeah I figured u just point kill and slash for the entire game. I think Dc looks good the shaky camera is mostly to scare ppl but it is distracting.

Ah, that's just specific characters from the Resi universe, there's nothing different about killing them it's just that it might be spoilers if I say them because they're supposed to be secret.

I've never found shaky to be scary personally, just annoying, lol.

One thing to mention is the "wii zapper" mode gameplay available for the game--which really makes it harder to aim if u ask me so i guess u could say it makes it more realistic lol. And this game is pretty much a nostalgia(spelling?) game for hardcore RE fans. Which i am ^_^

It's a bit of both if you think about it. It's for fans wanting to play the new ones 'cause it fills in the backstory and it's for retro fans who want to play the old locations in a new way.

Yeah the Zapper mode is I agree, useless, but my mates swear by it.

Fantastic review, this looks pretty aweosme for a Wii game, reminds me of Resident Evil 4 in the looks department. Is there much replay value once you beaten the game

It just depends on how much you liked it the first time, because these types of games are only as replayable as you enjoyed them.

I mean there's the obviousness of doing it in 1p and co-op and unlocking co-op for the side missions and then there's replaying for better ranks to upgrade the weapons you've collected and then finally there's getting all the documents and stuff.

So if you really enjoy these types of games, then yeah, there's a lot to do :)
