I own a 96 Maxima 3.0 and love it! No problems whatsoever... I only wish it was a manual..

I've been considering the new one, but this Renault-Nissan thing just makes me uncomfortable, I like my Japanese cars to be really Japanese, not part French...

I have an 06 Maxima SE and while I do like it, KBB failed to mention it has the turning radius of the moon. Even the simplest of parking spots or U-turns can be difficult. Also, the torque steer on the 04-08 models can get a little annoying.

On the other hand, the car looks great and the engine has good power. Overall, I'm pleased with it.

I've always liked the Nissan Maxima. The '04-'08 model has very nice exterior styling.

Nissan is by far the "Coolest" Asian import make. Sorry Honda and Toyota lovers but its true, i believe that Hyundai is second to Nissan with Honda in third place and Toyota keeping up the rear. Honda and Toyota build such generic looking cars with plastic generic interiors, its almost sad. When i drive a car i want to hear and feel power, i want to rely on handling, and i don't want to break it if i slam the door. Slam a Honda door and it sounds hollow, take a Camry through a turn "LOL"..

nissan is cool, and I really like them, but subaru's and mitsubishi's are probs my fave. I like teh nissan 370z the first time i started loving cars when i played need for speed underground 2 on the gamecube my fave car was the nissan 350z other cars got upgraded more and still I loved my 350z. I was unbeatable

Ford/Lincoln are the best to me. Especially their new vehicles. The new 2010 fusion is the best out of the altima, camry, and accord. The styling is just amazing imo and the interior is godly. Best fuel economy of the 3 too but that's not what I care about. The new mustang gt is amazing, the 2010 lincoln mkt is amazing, 2010 lincoln mks, 2010 taurus, and 2010 f150 will be amazing. The lincoln mkt with ecoboost beat some audi in it's class with a v8. I love ford, they get better and better.

really? As I recall the malibu won the mid-sized sedan war...I sorta hate lincoln there cars aren't even that nice and they're a total rip. Ford is doing alot better though...like the new tauros

I love the design elements in Nissans. The French connection resulted in the long wheelbases like the German designed Malibu.

I perfer the 2004-2008..however the 07-08's are my 2 fav. years! The 2009's arent that appealing to me. I think Nissan could have done so much better with them. The front end looks like shit, as well as the rear end. The interior is nice, but I dont like the new seats, steering wheel, or dash setup. I understand that they are more powerful..which is a plus..but for me..I like the 07-08's. But again..thats just my opinion...

when seeing one on the road i always think it's an altima or when i see an altima i think it's a maxima...they look almost the same =/ i like the 09 max a ton better.
