I love KLOVE. I love your live videos here on youtube. Can I make a request please? I wish Rush Of Fools would stop by to sing 'Grace Found Me' live. What are the chances? Thanks
But... the message is still there if you look for it kind of like when Jesus spoke using parables. It's tough to say how a music touches someone's life. There is a lot of Christian that does nothing for me and some that does. In the end it comes down to the persons heart and only God knows that. But hey, I'll jam to some Jackson 5 any day! lol
I don't disagree with you at all on the influence of music. I listen to both Christian and Secular music. I feel God has used both to influence me in a positive manner. I like music that represents the human condition and that is simply honest. Music that we can all relate to. I'm a musician myself so I naturally have a bias when it comes to music. This is why I like bands like Needtobreathe that cater to everybody so nobody is excluded.
That's why it is so important to know WHAT we are listening to and know what the RIGHT choice should be and start Putting that choice in motion.
And for the argument of switchfoot, i'm human. I'm going to make mistakes. But that's not my point, it's THE TYPE OF MUSIC. (caps intended to make a point. not to show anger.)
Music was brought to us from Satan. The worlds first musicians in history were the followers of Satan. Why Satan and not God? Satan is basically the master of Sound. He is the most beautiful angel God has ever created - a body made out of musical instruments of all kinds, including the ones we have yet to see! He possibly used music to influence the Angels in such a way that he was able to grab a 1/3 of all Angels to follow him. That shows how powerful music is! That's why it's so important
Our body starts searching for routes to find the energy it needs to fester in its pleasure until it takes control of you before you notice. Music influences us in such a way it staggers the imagination! Music is spiritual. Its a language we will never understand for the simple reason of: It wasn't meant for us.
"The music that you listen to is either who you are, or who you want to be..."
~Mark Hall
Why would a Christian listen to music that's ungodly? It doesn't make sense. We will go on in life wanting to be a Christian, and then after we get Christ and are so on fire for him, listening to worship, or what ever is Christian that you could find. After all of this that we spent so long in trying to be right, we lose focus. Thinking that now God is in our lives we will be bett
Switchfoot and Needtobreath don't consider themselves Christian bands. If you haven't already, you should read up on those guys. It's a very interesting read. Switchfoot in particular has gotten alot of flack for not being "Christian" enough or for not mentioning Jesus or God in their lyrics. What they have to say about all that is pretty cool and thought provoking. Their music is honest and has a lot to do with their experiences with this roller coaster called life that we all deal with.
I'm didn't say that. Bands like those or reliant K, (another band that fits in that category) can still be used. But they are still Christian.
What I'm saying is that spiritual "signature" presence that only Christian music can offer. I love jazz. As long as the songs aren't innopropriate, rebellious, or negative in anyway, it's ok.
And God made music. Yes you're right. But whose to say that it was meant for us to have?
@jonathanjb9950 Mmmmmm, I disagree. Are you saying bands like Switchfoot and Needtobreathe that play a lot of secular songs can't be God inspired? What about classical music or jazz? While I agree a lot of secular music isn't God inspired but that's simply not the case with all of it. God created music after all and his presence can shine through many genres in my opinion. You do have to be careful though.
i like klove and many people may say that there music all sounds the same but i disagree klove is just a door to the many choices of christian music thats out there dont limit yourself to just one station theres more, as long as its christian music it dont matter what genre it is :)
Music by white people; for white people; brought to you by...you guessed it...white people. Don't get me wrong, listening the Christian radio is a great thing and I recommend it. I just wish there was A LOT more diversity. Ultimately the message is great but the music is very monotonous.
I have been listening to NOTHING BUT Christian music for YEARS. :) It truly is all I ever WANT to listen to! There is TRUTH to this challenge, and I do, SINCERELY, encourage everyone to do it! You may find yourself not WANTING to listen to anything else but Christian music! :) It will FEED your spirit! :)
Its changing me i think of the lord at all times i was never like this and now i ser the blessing in my life

Our lives will be better.
Then our old habits begone to resurface.

Christian music has something that secular music doesn't. It has God and the Holy Spirit. It Proclaims the name of Jesus, our Savior...
I love this music!
