@sa9so and they had grown stagnant, creatively speaking, with him behind the drums. they don't even speak anymore, from what paolo's said on their forums. nick's bringing a different drumming aspect to the band, and i think its ultimately going to be pretty badass, basing off shattering the skies above, and the small snippets of some demos that are on their fanclub site.

Travis created the trivium sound, nick can't hold a candle to him , but some of travises talent and style rubbed off on nick but he is no where as smooth and he has less drumming style than travis , i can't belive he's gone , in 2006 he was awarded the best drummer in the universe !!!!!!! i'd like to se nick rise to that
