I don't think this actually happened. If capell had somehow managed to survive and escape the moon, dont you think he would of tried to contact aya? not play the flute for 3 random little kids.

when Veros the Moon God was talking about 'she' and not revealing who she was; that 'she' might have been aware of Veros' death and went to the place of his death. She could have stumbled upon Capell and teleported him onto land. Then whilst searching around for his way back to Aya, he himself stumbles upon some children who request him to play the flute. Gustav realises he is nearby and Aya rushes to him and hugs him. =D End.

Well, from my knowledge, there is alot of unexplained parts.
The only main things about the first journey are Capell's back-story, how lunaglyphs work, and the relationship between the characters.
There are lots of things like capturing Sigmund's shadow, who Veros really was, the magic of Leonid and Saranda, and deep knowledge about vermifores. Everyone was still wondering what to do when they were about to smash the last chain, the sequal should include this stuff.
I liked it, a lot to be honest, I beat it a day ago and now I'm buggering around in the Seraphic Gate.. I'm just trying to figure out how Capell lived..
My best theory would've been that whoever 'she' was granted him life. If you don't know who I'm talking about, Veros mentions a 'she'.... though why Capell remained hidden so long is confusing. The other may be a side effect of the Aristo's teleport, or perhaps the path stayed up a bit longer..
i wish they would make a rpg like this one that once u beat it you can continue after it you know with everythng good still there like the moon not chained when you unchain it instead ov u beat it and hte bad is still there u juss get a harder mode or a new place (dragonequest) ....and oya one more thng do u get anythng else other then infinity mode after u beat it on normal and what do u get after u beat infinity mode
You get access to Seraphic Gate via Kolton after you beat the game on Normal or higher (I think it has to be at least Normal difficulty). It's your traditional Tri-Ace post-game dungeon grinder with a few surprises, including being able to recruit Sigmund back into your party--or at least his shadow.

Plus, if they had left Capell up there on the moon, they'd have room for a sequel! Ah well...

When have they NOT put a happy ending in a square enix game? Myself, I didn't enjoy this game much at all. It lacked depth, intrigue, much of any sort of enjoyable gameplay and if you ask me, the story just... sucked.
I think one could argue that FFX's ending wasn't exactly a happy ending, though it wasn't a complete downer. X-2 kind of erased that, though, so I dunno. The Last Remnant had a bit of a downer as an ending too. Not all S-E or Squaresoft games have happy endings.

Meh, I'm not one for those "heart wrenching" endings... like FFX. Although I hated FFX-2, I'm glad they made it so we could see the happy ending. I get "attached" to my RPG characters, so why would I want to see an unhappy ending? IDK, that's the way I see it. I always liked Capell too >.>

aaaaarrrrghhhhh this ending wasn't satisfying at all..what about the vision of savio(aristos laying on ground dead and capell has a sword in his hand)it felt like the story stopped half-way..sigmund???i was 120% sure that he would come at the end and do something...if there's not second game im gonna be sooooo pissed
The vision of Savio is explained, actually. The vision isn't meant to be taken literally as an event that was going to happen. It was explained that once Capell defeated Veros, his source of power was eliminated. This source of power is also what keeps Aristos alive (power of the moon, I believe). So.. Savio forsaw Capell defeating Veros, thus leading to the death of the Aristos. This did pretty much happen, except we learn that they simply fall asleep, and not die.
oh..well..yeah..i was just frustrated because i finished the main game two hours ago..you see i was expecting something like capell going berserk and killing people with lunaglyphs(like he was plotting in one part of the game.)so i was kinda disappionted..there should be second game where sigmund is actually alive and he is the main bad guy in the end..that would be kinda predictable but fun
This ending sure leaves everything to your imagination. If you guys recall there was a scene where they talked about how a person without a lunarglyph found a passage to the moon. Maybe capell uses this passage to return to earth, with the help of the others god's.

I rather think Capell could 'live' on the moon and that, in exploring it, he found the way the first Aristos created and used it to go back to the earth.
I think they were close enough to teleport them on earth before the chain was destroyed, not including Capell. But it's what is cool with the game, all hypothesis are possible.
initially i didn't like this ending because its so short. But watching The Last Remnant's ending...i changed my mind - guess we shouldn't be asking too much for a good ending :p
I agree with those of you hoping for a sequal or something close to it. There were to many questions left unanswered for it to just close like that. Who knows maybe another moon god shows up for the sequal(or maybe a sun god this time lol). There are plenty of possibilities as long as they are willing we'll just have to wait and see.
they are few the video games with such a beautiful history, at the end it seemed really that died but I have seen that after the titles of tail there was this tape. I am Italian and unfortunately in Infinite Undiscovery doesn't exist in Italian and I have owed us to play in Eng but the plot I understand her/it the same. To have him/it in ITA however would it be a whole other thing... a forum exists in Italian or in English on Infinite Undiscovery?

Tri-Ace is known for making games with post-game material. To my knowledge, none of Tri-Ace's stories are usually long (although IU is fairly shorter than usual), as most of the gameplay you do is spent in post-dungeons, etc. 60 hours of gameplay is not uncommon if you've tackled the Seraphic Gate in Infinite Undiscovery. If dungeon grinding is not your thing, then perhaps you should consider their future titles more carefully.

Yeah, just bear in mind that Square-Enix didn't actually 'make' the game, but all they did was publish it. Tri-Ace is the company that developed Infinite Undiscovery; the same company that makes the Star Ocean series, Valkyrie Profile, etc.
But yeah, I'm hoping for XIII to be a success too.

I think this reunion of Aya & Capell is awkward a bit (just like my english, sorry ^^'), because:
First, it's short, unlike the job-time, second, why the heck Capell didn't go to find Aya if he survived (somehow, and how?) to be with her?

the ending did feel a bit rushed, but it kinda gives it a cliffhanger and a clean cut instead of dragging it out for too long.

aaaaarrrrghhhhh this ending wasn't satisfying at all..what about the vision of savio(aristos laying on ground dead and capell has a sword in his hand)it felt like the story stopped half-way..sigmund???i was 120% sure that he would come at the end and do something...if there's not second game im gonna be sooooo pissed

The vision of Savio is explained, actually. The vision isn't meant to be taken literally as an event that was going to happen. It was explained that once Capell defeated Veros, his source of power was eliminated. This source of power is also what keeps Aristos alive (power of the moon, I believe). So.. Savio forsaw Capell defeating Veros, thus leading to the death of the Aristos. This did pretty much happen, except we learn that they simply fall asleep, and not die.

oh..well..yeah..i was just frustrated because i finished the main game two hours ago..you see i was expecting something like capell going berserk and killing people with lunaglyphs(like he was plotting in one part of the game.)so i was kinda disappionted..there should be second game where sigmund is actually alive and he is the main bad guy in the end..that would be kinda predictable but fun

This ending sure leaves everything to your imagination. If you guys recall there was a scene where they talked about how a person without a lunarglyph found a passage to the moon. Maybe capell uses this passage to return to earth, with the help of the others god's.

Ok i think the dude in the green hair dude's spell must have teleported capell too just in a diff location and he must have ditched the armor or has it in a house somewhere and there maybe a IU2

I rather think Capell could 'live' on the moon and that, in exploring it, he found the way the first Aristos created and used it to go back to the earth.
I think they were close enough to teleport them on earth before the chain was destroyed, not including Capell. But it's what is cool with the game, all hypothesis are possible.

initially i didn't like this ending because its so short. But watching The Last Remnant's ending...i changed my mind - guess we shouldn't be asking too much for a good ending :p

I agree with those of you hoping for a sequal or something close to it. There were to many questions left unanswered for it to just close like that. Who knows maybe another moon god shows up for the sequal(or maybe a sun god this time lol). There are plenty of possibilities as long as they are willing we'll just have to wait and see.

they are few the video games with such a beautiful history, at the end it seemed really that died but I have seen that after the titles of tail there was this tape. I am Italian and unfortunately in Infinite Undiscovery doesn't exist in Italian and I have owed us to play in Eng but the plot I understand her/it the same. To have him/it in ITA however would it be a whole other thing... a forum exists in Italian or in English on Infinite Undiscovery?

Tri-Ace is known for making games with post-game material. To my knowledge, none of Tri-Ace's stories are usually long (although IU is fairly shorter than usual), as most of the gameplay you do is spent in post-dungeons, etc. 60 hours of gameplay is not uncommon if you've tackled the Seraphic Gate in Infinite Undiscovery. If dungeon grinding is not your thing, then perhaps you should consider their future titles more carefully.

o no its not that it was just so pumped that there was a squared enix game for the 360 cuz i've been playin square games since like playstation like chrono cross and i loved them but i no long own playstation systems anymore and own a 360 i was pumped to see the word SQAURE and was hoping high expections to FF but i guess i have to wait for FFXIII to be satisfied

Yeah, just bear in mind that Square-Enix didn't actually 'make' the game, but all they did was publish it. Tri-Ace is the company that developed Infinite Undiscovery; the same company that makes the Star Ocean series, Valkyrie Profile, etc.
But yeah, I'm hoping for XIII to be a success too.

yea i realized that when i played the game cuz FFX was a regular based game by the fighting and it was still better then this game but Star Ocean wasn't bad yet i never beat the first one :P i love RPG this game woulda been better if they put a lil more effort into it like Square does cuz their RPG are SICK
