We call it the Bichon Blitz. We have two and we are part of a group that meets with other Bichon owners called Bichon Buddies and that what everyone calls it, lol! It's amazing to see 7-10 Bichons all doing it.

My Bichon does this, too. I do it with her. She is the light of my life. I found her abandoned next to a creek. BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO EITHER OF US! I can't begin to describe my love for my Molly....and my Cocker Spaniel, Starky. Found him abandoned, too. My philosophy is that if I found them, then the Universe trusted me to find them. If it trusted me, how can I ever give them to a shelter? Now, I am completely in love with both!

OMG my sweet "lil sister" lily did that! she died at the age of 17 n 1/2!! I miss her! she did that all the way up til the end...but not as much near the end...but she did it like a week or so before she went to rainbow bridge the heaven for our beloved furry friends!!!

Worse dog I have ever in my life owned. I have one Meadow and it is a night mare A NIGHT MARE and I'm a dog person educated in Vet training. Maybe some people are lucky to get a nice dog like yours but not many and house breaking forget it. I put of 16 hundred into my dog and still love her but she is going to the SPC there not good with kids should be on the BSL list Bad dogs to own

@diane189444 - you are doing something wrong if you are having trouble housebreaking. I've owned Bichons my entire life and never had a problem potty training any of them - they have to be taken out frequently and do require some patience, but I've never had one that soils the house. As far as not being good with kids, again, that's the fault of the owner. I raised my children with Bichons in the home and never had an issue with one not getting along with our children or any others.

I love Bichons. Our little guy is 13 1/2 years old now, the smartest dog I've ever had, still loves life and gets frisky, but in "slow-motion." It's common for Bichons to run the "Bichon Circuit" like that. For Buddy, when he was younger, he would just jump up and run a figure-8 around the coffee table and couch---over and over and over! Too funny.

love the bichon blitz!!!!! i miss that so much....when my little boy was a puppy, every night at 9:30 he would blitz around the entire house - they can't help themselves, which is what makes them so unique. My little guy left us a year ago Friday, and we will miss him forever - he was the light of our lives and died just short of his 15th birthday....I love you Raffles! Thanks for the wonderful memory you provided with your little bichon!
