The first two of three sections of the new Orange Line opens in 2012. The third section opens in 2014. Parker Road Station is the eastern terminus of the line.
I thought the whole Orange line opens in 2012. Is it the new line is terminating trains @ Parker Road? I don't know if Lawnview will be the main terminus because it is not on the future map. It only says Parker road is the main terminus.
@barrettreynolds5 Orange Line shares track with the Red Line. It Starts in Plano then switches to the Green line and ends at Bachman Station. It will Eventually go to the DFW Airport in 2013
This is great, can't wait to have the Orange line .5 mile away from my place. But I would honestly recommend you guys use better grapics and animations in your videos, it is very early "2000'ish"
Please use better resolution here and on the DART website for transit maps. The one here at 0:42 is blurry. I know other transit systems set a poor example with this all the time, but we do things better in Texas.
@sesshora44 From Bachman Station, the Orange Line heads northwest to the Las Colinas Urban Center in 2012 and DFW Airport in 2014. The Blue Line extension to Rowlett is scheduled to open in December 2012.
