The only problem with that is that the cars in Tokyo drift are less modern than in Fast Five so there is some inconsistency to your theory. Thumbs up if this makes sense

I went to go see Fast Five today and when this came on and Letty's picture was revealed, the whole audience let out one big gasp while I was laughing at their reaction.
I have a theory about the next movie. I think something is going to happen to Letty. She either gets in trouble or kidnapped. The cops are going to find Dom and Brian and tell them that Letty is alive and she's in trouble. Dom, Brian, and Mia are FREE. There is no other reason they would skip town other than to get Letty. And I think Dom would want an answer as to why she faked her own death and didn't tell him about it. Either way it'll end on a happy note with Dom and Letty together.

They're going to need to do some MAJOR retconning to explain just how the fuck Letty is still alive. Nothing in Fast and Furious even remotely hints or suggests that she survived her encounter with Phoenix.
@Jmortal Actually they kind of did. If you notice Dom's interpretation doesn't match up to what Fenix said about her. Fenix said he didn't remember her face because it was burning. Dom imagines her being shot. Two purposely different things. Besides the fact she was originally supposed to show up at the end of F&F overlooking them breaking him out, though it was later cut and as you see, twisted up and brought in as a plot device for FF6 ;)

No matter how you see it, Tokyo Drift will always hit the bottom in chronological order. So far, the way I see it, the order will go:
1. The Fast and the Furious
2. Turbo Charged (prelude to 2 Fast 2 Furious)
3. 2 Fast 2 Furious
4. Los Bandoleros (prelude to Fast and Furious)
5. Fast and Furious
6. Fast 5
7. Fast 6 ( I say this because Letty's heist is in Berlin and Han and Gisele are going to detour there before Han goes to Tokyo)

I have a theory about the next movie. I think something is going to happen to Letty. She either gets in trouble or kidnapped. The cops are going to find Dom and Brian and tell them that Letty is alive and she's in trouble. Dom, Brian, and Mia are FREE. There is no other reason they would skip town other than to get Letty. And I think Dom would want an answer as to why she faked her own death and didn't tell him about it. Either way it'll end on a happy note with Dom and Letty together.

Guess what, I knew as a fan there was a last scene and I screamed telling everyone to sit down because something HAD to come after this little credits thing and most listened but some thought I guess I was crazy or something and when that last scene started everyone was like "WOH IT'S NOT OVER! They're going to need to do some MAJOR retconning to explain just how the fuck Letty is still alive. Nothing in Fast and Furious even remotely hints or suggests that she survived her encounter with Phoenix.

@Jmortal Actually they kind of did. If you notice Dom's interpretation doesn't match up to what Fenix said about her. Fenix said he didn't remember her face because it was burning. Dom imagines her being shot. Two purposely different things. Besides the fact she was originally supposed to show up at the end of F&F overlooking them breaking him out, though it was later cut and as you see, twisted up and brought in as a plot device for FF6 ;)
