I raised 100 last year and ended up 90 and I'd never raise more than 50 ever again. It was just a little too much to deal with. I like your plucker . I was just wondering how you could make those rubber fingers with some ribs on them . Maybe some kind of branding iron could put ridges on them. think it'll pluck a lot faster and you'll eat less feathers. Good Work Buddy !
its so funny everybody always has a better idea \ thanh you for the video i will be making mine the same way thanks again for the great idea i want a plucker but cant afford one thry cost to much not this one
reminds me of the time when I went back home to live with my mom and dad after a divorce for a while on their farm. He said he had too many roosters and I could kill some of them and clean them. Man that rooster was delicious.

You should have a Plexiglas/Lexan/Makrolon/polymethyl methacrylate shield so that the operator doesn't get chicken feathers blasted in their face.

@randacnam7321 That would have been really nice to have.

how did u make it?
binashraf 10 months ago
@binashraf
I see a drill and a barrel.
The spinning head is probably a piece of PVC pipe with some rubber fingers (lots of folks use bungee cords inserted through holes in the PVC pipe).
