As I'm thinking of buying this game, does it work over LAN with windows 7 or is there any known issues? I have already tried with a torrented version and it didn't work, so I'm wondering if it's the same for the full game. Please respond as it really seems like a great game to play with friends. : )

@madichelp0 Hi. Dont see no reason why it wouldn't work as I use LAN with IL-2 via Vista & although I've not tried windows 7 LAN, the 2 OS's are quite similar & it runs IL-2 LAN on Vista Premium with absolutely no problems atall. (If anything, I guess Windows 7 should be even better).

I actually thought that dogfight was pretty good. And it had a pretty unexpected ending! :P

Great editing, and all that, once again. I like how you sometimes act all panicked when you film from the perspective of a pilot who's going down.

BTW, which mods do you use?

Very kind & descriptive reply as per usual. Thanks. It's just UI1.2 mod over at AAA. Those guys have some talent. I'm also d/loading the other MOD pack this very moment, the HSFX 4.1 as I've never tried it. I do throw in some custom sounds into the vids but other than that, it's all quite basic, generic material used.

I downloaded HSFX 4.1 recently as well. Haven't really tried it yet since I'm busy playing through some excellent community made campaigns. I'll probably take a look at it when I'm done.

@Eddlord89 I highly recommend Zeuscat's campaigns.
