if you help a chicken out of its egg it will die. weird how we can be born by sections and are never left alone but in other parts of nature if you interfere you'll screw it up.. makes me wonder how many human birth complications are a direct result of interferance

@MissLadyDeviant -I heard if you pull the shell off them they may still be attached to part of it so you can hurt & injure them but I do wonder if this is a normal hatching because it looks sad & the chick looks exausted & uncomfortable yes they should put some straw or something down, I wonder what this poor chicks destiny was because most chicks end up killed terribly day 1 :'(
