Yes it's palmacosta Lloyd is like the leader of the church or something like that and leads the attack. There the main character's parents are killed and that's why they hate lloyd. Collette wants to do a last journey of regeneration but lloyd doesn't want to so they become enemies. Genis gets angry at lloyd too. Emil then makes a pact with that dark cat and he becomes a knight of ratatoskr

Yeah. Most of your party consists of monsters. You feed them too. And you don't get full control of them, apparently, so I assume they are perminently on Auto? Then again, Wiki keeps showing new characters like Alice and Ritcher (who seems most useful next to Emil's flying sword actions), so maybe our party count will be full of human characters. After all, it's for four players.

I've researched on wikipedia about that. It seems the Hero of "ToS: Knights of Ratatosks" earns the power of Ratatosks so he can catch monsters and train them. It's pretty much the system: "Catching, Lvl. it up, feed it...". Also his Eye colour is changing when he's fighting or very mad. Actually it seems like there are still more then just those two are playable characters. There's this new guy, Richter. And there's also Colette Brunel.

This game looks awesome. but sadly, I don't think you can play as any of the old characters. In fact, you only control the two main characters, and then you have 2 other pets that you catch who fight with you. It's actually more like a monster catching game this time around.

Judging by the recently released info and screenshots at least some of the old characters will be playable (like Colette in the screenshot). I think you'll be able to choose your party but have restrictions, like having to take monsters on some occassions (missions, or whatever). Hm..
