@Wookisouthafrica There is a big learning curve yes BUT, you learn it over time and the best way to do so is by joining a corp which caters to new players. The best one of which is probably EVE University. You don't have to know it all to do things though, there's a lot of specialisation in EVE, for example, to be a basica 'tackler' you don't need to really know about Electronic Warfare or Covert Ops.
