The better thing to do was to say, "it's okay, sweety" as soon as it started. Not to say it after you coax her to attack the mirror.

You tell her to calm down and stop it but 1. She's freaked out enough already without you touching her on the back where she can't see, she probably thinks that's something to do with the "other cat" 2. Right before she attacks you clearly nudge her towards the mirror, therefore to her it seems the other cat is about to attack so instinct tell her too attack too...I call that cruel
