Tips:

- Don't restrict yourself to the little tag box. Use the description area if you have to. As long as the words are related to the video, you won't receive too many complaints.

- Search for videos similar to yours and use video response. Also, use similar tags to popular (related) videos.

- Go on forums outside youtube and share your vids. You're Filipino Canadian. There's plenty of Fil-Can/Asian discussion forums out there.

this is a interesting topic. from what i know, to get a lot of views u need something that appeals to everyone or the majority of the audiences like a attractive female for all the weird people on the net or even a funny skit for everyone to watchi in general. Green Tea Girl for an example made a 10 second video introducing herself to youtube 3 days ago and she has:

They're probably spammers. They sent out mass invites to people who leave comments on popular videos. They're only getting away with it because they're not blatantly promoting anything. This is an okay strategy if you want immediate results. It's risky because you might get into trouble if you do it too much. Send a few at a time and be selective.
