great car, lexus's 1st attempt of a performance sedan... and it's almost as good as it's rivals... ride is so harsh, but it's 0-60 time is so amazing, styling is bit off, for me at least, and the only major complaint i have is that... why oh why is there only 4 seats... why would you put a huge lump of awfulness (plastic centre) in the middle of back seats... personally i think m3 and c63 is better as its more practical and has if not more, as much performance as the isf...
To start off...the ride issue is only a personal issue. I've read reviews where they said the IS-F ride is great and other where they say its hard. But this is a performance car...would you not expect it to be hard?
I know 2 people who own a IS-F, one white and one blue. If you see a IS-F in real life your comment about the styling is thrown out the window. The car is down right sexy and gets attention....the BMW M3 sedan is ugly.
Also the ISF has the best interior out of the M3 and C63.
i hav an is-f and drives it everyday... is-f's ride is hard, not doubt about it, while cars like c63 and m3 is hard and forgiving at the same time. as a performance sedan, i expected performance and everyday usablilty, so i expected to be better (maybe an active damping would help) the styling... its just blown up piece, the normal is is a fine looking car, handsome and sharp, but is-f is like what 370z is to 350z (fatter and more ugly). interior is similar to normal is with less only 4 seats
and im talking about isf bcoz i hav it... while my friends hav 335i m3 c63 infiniti G37 and we went on a trip together. and everysingle car here has enuf performance on a day to day driving... but to b fair im only comparing it to m3 and c63 which i find is better interms of handling, ride, performance, and styling... u might find isf looks good, i hav no rights to say u r wrong, just like some would say Angelina Jolie is hot while i strongly disagress. but as performances goes facts r facts
o and also, forgot to mention, the is-f's cabin noise is insane... for a luxury sports/performance sedan at least... and no its not just the engine noise. the road and tyre noise along with the harsh ride makes me almost as sad as my isf when i decided to sell it for a m3 last month... today im driving a m3. much more composed and forgiving. tho it does start up jerky when the engine is cold once its warmed up, my smile never left my face. as i said, isf might b good car to some but just not me
when i owned the is350 i totally agree with him when he said, "he gets bored", without the manual transmission. its true..

Yea u are an old fart. The ISF is all ways fun to drive even if u don't put it in sport mode.
