  • I did a few hand wells at out post camps, all water pasted as full safe drinking water, I used a gas fire pump, made a fitting to go from the 2” fire hose fitting to male pipe thread to 1” pipe w/a car spring point welded to the end, run the fire pump and hand pushed the pipe down as fire pump was blasting water, put a sand point on the end of a 2” galvanized pipe, and push by hand down along side of the 1” pipe that was making the hole, works great

  • And as we know jack hammers have no problem with rock or concrete! I'll make a video if thats what I try.fail or not it will be fun:-)

  • Thanks for the video, good trouble shooting.I will be doing something similar digging my water well soon. I am contemplating an electric jackhammer with the proper fittings to spare the pipe from destruction.Seems like it should work better with that kind of vibration. What do you think?

  • @SanEverett I think it would work and drive with less damage but still tighten the pipe often just in case.

  • There are people that have machines and drill wells for a living ya retard lol.

  • @justin37901 Thanks for kind offer to pay the $15,000 for those people to come and dig.

HEY EVERYBODY THIS GUY IS WILLING TO PAY FOR YOU SEND HIM A PERSONAL MESSAGE AND ASK FOR IT!

    God bless your generosity sir!

  • I am going to do my own drive point - in sand to 20'. I definitely think you made things more difficult than they needed to be. I will use a "sacrificial" drive cap attached to a 3" nipple for each course of pipe I drop down (two 8' sections + 4' well point). Big question is will a sledge hammer work or is a post driver best?

  • @YTscott40 100% post pounder. Good luck with your drive cap, mine crushed and wiped out the threads. Use the longest pipe you can and stop to tighten often.

  • Why did you not try drilling in another part of your garden. You sure make it look hard!

  • @saltylug In some ways I did make it much harder on myself than it needed to be with all the things I tried. If I had to do it over again #1: I would in a heartbeat because it works so well but #2 I could be done in just a few days with just about 1/2 the cost. The ground under my place is all about the same so unless I hit a big boulder any spot is about as good as another.
