  • all that hardware no wonder that things so fast lol

  • Sounds beastly. Looks like the engine bay couldve been cleaned up a bit more before all that awesome motor work. My only question is, how in the heck do you get all that power to the ground in a light fox body stang?

  • To bad it takes at least 80hp to drive the blower to make a 1000fwhp.

  • Nice build

  • it wase not the first start

  • shitty video

  • VERY nice looking Stang... only thing that I don't understand... you had the motor out of the car, why in the hell didn't you fix and paint the engine bay???

  • Yes its a 85. LOVE the paxton . Been a great car but just have not had time to play with it any.

  • is this a 85 and how do you like that paxton supercharger there pretty expensive

  • sweet ....... what radiator hose are u using?? thanks!

  • i had my speakers turned up and everything was quiet, then the car started and it scared the shit out of me lmao

  • holly shit

  • Fastech was using autocorrect values for their dyno. Those multipliers denoted a 18% drive train loss, and thus provided an approximate crank HP reading. 615hp to the crank is still quite a bit of power. I love 4-eyed fox body's.

  • @nova2427

    Thanks for your replys!!

Well I guess Fastech needs to work on there Dyno. The engine was dynoed at the crank after it was built and BEFORE several upgrades and made 752 at the crank. After our upgrades I know it's making more than that and just by the seat of my pants more! Yeah we still have tuning to do which might pull 50-75 more HP out also because it was way rich although I know it was much more than 615 at the crank. 615 at the wheels maybe but no not the crank no way!

  • a lil rusty under the hood huh?

  • Dart iron eagle

  • what block are you using?

  • And If you notice below I did state around 800 HP which the engine was dynoed at before it was ever installed. Remember this car has hydraulic cam maxing out at around 6500 RPM which we did not hit but 6000 at the dyno and the car started to cut out because it was running so rich. Car also runs on pump gas and has 8.7.1 compression!

  • We have the smaller pulley which we will eventually put on the car which should bring it to around 20 lbs of boost and SHOULD be around 1000 crank HP easy. The fuel setup and everything is ready for this but we have to take baby steps. The 615 wheel HP you seen, the car was running very rich and once we lean it out it should add a substantional amount of power. We will be renting the dyno out so we can dial the tune up.

  • It currently have the stock pulley on it. The HP ratings I am quoting are from the crank. This video was made when the engine was droipped in the car and dynoed around 800 HP which is around 600 HP at the wheels with the parasitic loss. No one can say for sure exactly but close. I also had a 200 shot of nitrous I was going to throw at it to bring it to 1000 crank HP but decided against that.

  • I saw this car at Fastech's Dyno Day. It only put out roughly 615hp to the wheels. Was that with the pulley?

  • I saw this car at Fastech's Dyno Day. It only put out roughly 650hp to the wheels. Was that with the pulley?

  • man no rev or burnout

  • does it have 1000hp?? i don't know and frankly don't care!!

you can see how much work and knowledge has gone into this car and it's a credit to you. i'm a big fan of muscle cars and the mustang is my favourite.

1000hp or not i'd still rather have a drive in your car over a veyron anyday!!!

    top stuff mate. awesome car!!

  • What do you mean by little head unit??? Are you speaking of the supercharger? With the current setup it has roughly 800 HP but this is with the stock pulley and pushes about 10 lbs of boost, once we change to the smaller pulley we will hit around 20 lbs of boost and should EASILY hit 1000 HP. Right now we are just trying to get her setup on the 800 HP.

  • 1000hp with that little head unit? good luck.

  • Nice build, I'm in the process of building a 347 stroker (boss block) with a T76 Turbo, it's gunna be fun to see what kind of numbers its going to make. I also have a 432w in a Calypso Green Notchback (My baby)

  • nice car but too short vid :S

  • TRUE EXAMPLE OF AMERICAN MUSCLE.....Where are all the RICER and TUNER comments now ??? !! lol

    What an Animal bro...

  • love you daddy

  • did u have to use a spacer between the balancer n blower pulley so it could aligne the crank n alternator?

  • To be honest I am not sure? I had the engine built by T&L and they made it work for me but I can look if it is important to you?

  • Looks like you should maybe spend some money on the suspension, frame bracing, etc. etc. Ill race you with my little 600cc crotch rocket and kill you.

  • This car has been built from the ground up and over 30 grand put in it easy. Everything in and under the car is high dollar racing products. The only thing stock under the car is the rear shocks that's it! I have new QA1 12 way adjustable shocks waiting to go on the car now, other than that everything else is new. If it were not the entire car would twist into with that kind of power. Also I would suck the paint off your ricer. I have bikes too and I know what they run.

  • If you say so buddy. I doubt your car has a 1000hp. I would have raced you with my 600 rocket but I sold that and bought a liter now. There is no way you would come close to the liter, Ill put money on that too.

  • The only way to find something like that out would be to race and we know that will not happen but I think it would be close! I own and have owned several bikes including liter bikes so I know what they will do. I have been focusing more on cars here lately but I cant say on a 1000 cc and up? If it''s built to drag then no I would not have a chance but I have hurt some feelings of some kids on 600 cc crotch rockets LOL..

  • Dude He will tear your little 600cc crotch wanna be rocket up. Hell when I get my tune Im hoping I get to race a guy with an 08 honda cbr 600rr. So I can beat him and shut him up. CARS RULE!!!

  • I doubt that. But I dont have my 636cc any more. Sold it for a 1300cc....

  • Whats the fastest a 600 runs? About a 11.00 on a good day with bolt on's and a tune.

  • Around that, high 10s aren't rare. I ran 12.00 @120 in shitty air bone stock with my 05 636.

  • Well I've gone 11.19 @ 122 with no tune and falling off hard at 6000 rpm. Im thinking about 10.80s with a good tune. So we shall see if I get to race another bike. Ill definatily post that video with my others. LOL!!!

  • Falling off at 6000rpm? something is wrong with your bike. Mine picked up at 8k+ and pulled to 15,5000rpm.

  • Oh your mistaken. I have an 89 mustang with only about 550hp. Im going to get tuned next thursday then Ill know for sure. Ive beat 1 crotch rocket on the street. But I dont know what kind it was.

  • I think he means his car!

  • How much boost are you running?? Cool setup, great idle quality for a supercharger.

  • As of now only 12 lbs boost but getting ready to purchase a smaller pulley to push 20 lbs of boost. Yeah the car runs great for what it is. You would not believe how streetable it is. As of now I am running around 800 crank HP before nitrous but should be around 1000 crank HP before nitrous once I do the pulley change and tune.

  • I'm building a twin turbo setup for my '69 Mach 1. (2) 61mm Precision Turbos, 3" downpipes, custom headers, Dart Iron Eagle Block, 72cc AFR 205s, Crower Crank, Rods, Solid Roller Cam & Lifters, Mahle Forged Pistons. Going to run a 3.00 gear & 2500 Billet Converter. Going to try to foot brake it & run a 10 flat, getting 20mpg or better. Tranny might hold up; it's a Art Car with a Lentech valve body w/ a one piece input shaft.

  • That sounds like you are going to have a complete beast!!! I know of a guy who is currently building a twin turbo 88 mustang right now! I don't think you will have any trouble hitting a 10 flat as long as the suspension is set up right. I think the 9's would not be unheard of from that setup as long as you can hook up.

  • Yeah, I know what you're saying. I'm running 31" ladderbars with coilovers. I mini tubbed the car so that I could fit a 10" wheel under the car. Right now I'm running a 325/50 R15 MT Drag Radial. I'm going to have to run at least a 3.55 gear to help the rollout.

  • Greg Grosset said the car would blow the wheels off the car with a 3.00. 6.5 psi is where I'll start & more than likely I'll have to short shift 1st & 2nd so that I don't run too fast. the motor is capable of running & handling a 8 second run (~ 2000 crank HP with a good tune). By the end of the summer a friend & I are going to produce a video of this car running his twin turbo Lingenfelter Corvette, if everything works out like it should :)

  • Hey, beautiful car. I'm jealous.

  • ya 1000hp on nitrous lol

  • Yeah correct BUT the car is undergoing mods to attempt to hit 1000 Hp BEFORE nitrous!! I am keeping my fingers crossed...

  • @iwasatoad 1000hp is 1000hp

  • dude awsome car but covering the "4 eyes" is just the worst thing u could have done!!! i fucking love the way 4 eyes look!!!

  • Yeah I personally like the covers, I like the 4 eyed mustangs too but I think the covers give it that stealth look. Thanks for the comment.

  • its a pretty sweet ride dude! i would never think that car is pushing 1000hp if i see it at a light! i have a 93 fox! im hoping to run low or mid 8s with full interior, full glass, sound system and still running AC and all with a 5 speed! but thats far from now...

  • beautiful i luv it lots of money under the hood of that car

  • Thanks and yes there is a ton of money under the hood :-0

  • You have a right to your opinion. No offense taken some people do not like them. I am one who does!

  • EFI?????

  • Dude that car sounds fantastic! The motor looks amazing! I hope one day mine will sound just as tough. Thanks for inspiring me.

  • It is a custom grind cam from T&L engines so not sure exactly. I have full 3-1/2" exhaust going through Magnaflos to turn downs. I actually had a custom hood made and looks pretty darn good!!!!!

  • Hell yeah!

What cam do you have in that? Cam sounds tuff as hell also what muffs you using. How r you going to get a hood on that LOL...................
