My Keynes Hayek: The Clash That Defined Modern Economics is published in October by W.W.Norton. Read an extract at: sites.google.com/site/wapshottkeyneshayek/
Before slagging him off, read his "The Economic Consequences of the peace", published in 1919. If people had listened to him then, WWII might never have happened. He was a genius!
@blueray1969 Before you over-praise Keynes (he was an idiot - a clever idiot but an idiot nonetheless), try reading 'The Failure Of The New Economics' by Henry Hazlitt, in which he rips Keynes's General Theory to pieces.
Keynes was a pinhead. Studio the fallacy of the broken window explained by Bastiat and brilliantly exposed my John Stossel in a youtube clip you can search for . There is also a comic book version of "'The Road to Serfdom" for the keynesian illiterate fools. Mises, Hayek, Bastiat were so brilliant the Keynesians can't understand that the government cannot "create" jobs. They only steal from the producers. Keynesians are misguided and very poor thinkers.
I would be willing to bet that WelshLibertarian has never read a single thing that Keynes wrote. Keynes' theories have very little in common with what people think of as "Keynesian economics" these days
@theicon80 I have read Keynes, and the man was a CRANK. His writing is quite entertaining, though. I have to wonder whether The General Theory was really intended as an elaborate joke.
alonelychild, he does!, it's his expression, i think, creepy, like a grandpa who you can trust, but he like's to torture minorities in his alone time. good wholesome genocide, economicly! yaeh!
yes kids! keynesian babble will serve you well in college , as useless as tits on a bull in THE REAL WORLD , but nevertheless your know~nuthin Proffessers will be very impressed
@WelshLibertarian tha's very spiteful of you. blaming keynes for the failures of socialist governments is as stupid as blaming jesus for the crusades.
Jesus never gave intellectual or moral grounds to would be crusaders to indulge their bloodthirsty proclivities. Kings and crusaders co-opted His message for their own gains.
Keynes, on the other hand, encouraged governments to do what they already are predisposed to do: spend money. Keynes himself gave politicians what they had craved - a theory which supported their own ends, ie, the vast expansion of political power through "fiscal policy."

The songs says that Keynes's writings are entertaining and useful in college -- not even his acolytes would try to argue that

This song is dispicable because it praises a man that has inflicted so much pain and misery on the world because of his wrong-headed economics.

@kkmarivate Interesting parallel.
