I just started up and am learning the basics but I wont be able to make pennsic this year but I will be going to push, man I cant wait till i actually can make it to pennsic, just to get my first battle jitters out of my system
is there any strategic planning before battle or does everyone just run at each other. i am not being sarcastic i am just curious because one day my husband and i will get there. i have heard soooo much about it and have seen sooo many video. it looks crazy fun.

Yes, there is actually much strategic planning that goes on, but you know the old saying: no plan survives contact with the enemy!
