I think it's the intro to the song, it comes as a seperate track before bird song on the deluxe album...I think.

Yes it is - and yes it's the intro to the song which is a seperate track on the deluxe version on the album. In fact, you can only get birdsong on the deluxe version of the album (which is well worth getting!).

However I think the album intro is slightly different to when I saw them sing it live. Sigh. They don't sing it live anymore which is a shame. It's my favourite F&TM song.

I know the bird song´s intro is created by Florence, I LOVE FLORENCE, but Don´t you think it´s similar to "life in technicolor"´s melody by coldplay? When I listen to one of this two I remember the other :D I love as much coldplay as Florence + the machine. I´m sorry for my limited English ^^
