I've just started muay thai and found these videos helpful in my downtime when I'm not training. I have a problem though, I'm not very flexible. Can't touch my toes, groin is tight, and can barely get my kicks up. Any tips on increasing flexibility?
When I get time, I will make more detailed Videos and I am a poor servant in Thailand so it takes time and money which I do not have much of BUT I am truly blessed. ;-)
I suffered with knee problems for 10 years, I had surgery in 2003, did my first fight in Thailand in 2007 and I am 100% now.
It is hard to kick knowing your knee might slide out!! You have to really make sure it is okay and to fully strengthen it before you continue in Muay Thai. My left kick became very strong, I can fight south paw now because I could not use my right knee that much.
nice vids bro

Stretch ... stretch ... stretch ... and it always HURTS. ;-(
Flexibility is hard, I have been doing it for 30 years off and on. The rewards do not happen fast and you can not take Steroids to do it. ;-)
Stretch before and after your workouts.
