@jedwardclark The lyrics in the book are different from those in the actual song. If you go on Bjork's website, under the Lyrics section, you can find more accurate listings than those in the liner notes.

Trust me, I got messed up trying to translate, too. Hopefully that's helpful, though, good luck!

Do any of you know the Icelandic lyrics to this? I've tried to translate the lyrics to Dismembered and they don't seem to be the same.

@jedwardclark Icelandic is very heavily declined in grammar in comparison to English so that would be hard to do.

I got into Bjork, when she was with Sugarcubes c1983 & the same guy is rapping, there, too?

Was this HIS band, at first & she did a guest vocal that started this? How'd this band start?

Okay, first of all, "the rapper" is called Einar Örn Benediktsson.

So, Einar was on Purrkur Pillnikk, an Icelandic punk band, and Björk was on Tappi Tíkarrass, also an Icelandic punk band. Both were the lead singers of each band, and both bands were well-known at the time.

So, some guy wanted to form a punk "supergroup" for the last show of some radio program. So, he took various members from the more popular Icelandic punk bands, and that's where Björk and Einar met.
