  • @NickasaurusStudio I agree im homeschooled and its pretty disappointing that like half of homeschoolers have absolutely no social life and act like weirdoes. :/

  • Im homeschooled and these kids are really weird!

  • i'm so glad all of this kids ARE home schooled, because every single one of them would be bullied as hell on public school. (i hate bullies and i'm not against home school, i'm just saying)

  • check out homeschoolersclub.webs.com

  • Someone pleaseeeee reply! i have some questions for ANYONE willing to answer about homeschooling. thank you :)

  • I want to homeschool again but I'd miss all my friends and I'm going to graduate in 2 years anyway :(

  • god damn it.... why do all homeschoolers have to look like fucking FAGGOTS!

  • I like the dude at 0:10. Awesome.

  • in homeschooling you don't have to deal with people that are mean or who just don't like you, which hinders your ability to do that later in life.

  • @bookworm13130 No. The only thing you learn is to be indifferent to bad behavior going on around you. The notion that throwing children in with dogs teaches them to deal with dogs "later in life" is deeply stupid and backward.

  • you are all nerds. and i might be home schooled and I pray I won't turn out like you. later GEEKS

  • Someone, please shoot the Geese in the background.

  • And contrary to these popular myths that makes up the argument for the indoctrination centers, schools does NOT prepare a child into the real world. And schools are inherently bad ONLY when someone is force to go there against the child's/parent own free will, and is force to compitulate his or her own agenda with that of a political/industrial ruling class.

  • Quite an elitist's mindset you got there, "KazigluTepes". Since when does a child need to learn "Math and Biology"? And what do you mean when you said that a parent need to have very good skills like an teacher at a institutional school; That these parents are not "smart" enough to teach their own children? Is that what you implying?

  • The problem with homeschooling is that the parents have to have the skills of a teacher to tech kids about things such as math or biology. I know would never have really been able to learn about RNA, DNA, and other parts of molecular biology if not taught by someone who both has a degree in the field and is skilled at teaching.

School are not inherently bad, and neither is homeschooling. But I do think there are far more benefits in going to a school.

  • Oh my gosh where do I start with you. Do you think that most public school teachers have degrees in biology or anything of the sort? No, they have degrees in education. They learn the same way anyone does....by reading. Let's face it, statistically, homeschoolers scoore much much better on both academic levels and socialization levels than public schoolers.

  • @Poneutria Oh my dear God. Are you really that fucking stupid? Of course teachers have degrees in their field of study! Math teachers have an education degree in math. Biology teachers have an education degree in biology. So YES, they DO have degrees in their associated field. Many have Masters degrees and then in Universities they usually have PhD's.

God damn. Take the ACT/SAT and go to college before you start to talk like a blithering idiot.

  • @hannabthemd, it depends on the state you live in and what age group you want to teach. Some teachers don't need a specialized degree.

  • Yah well my Mom has plenty of skills to teach me and you know what? My Dad is an electrical engineer so yah he knows all the math I will ever be taught. Plus homeschooling teaches you that if your parents dont know it and you dont know it, LOOK IT UP! We have books and there is this amazing thing called the internet. Homeschooling teaches you that your not always gonna have a teacher or your mom and dad to rely on for information, you gotta get it yourself!

  • @ADSMLPS well umm... Im homeschooled. Let's see.... I take one class at highschool. I play highschool sports. I travel places. My Bff is my neighbor and she goes to public school. I meet all her friends. I went to homecoming last year and plan to go to prom this year. I'm going to be dueling enrolling this year as well. Hmmm.. yah homeschooling definitely does mean you never get any socializing skills. Im just a hermit and Im afraid to go to college. Yup.

  • @cowgirlup280 Okay it depends on the situation.. most homeschooled kids interact very little socially anyways it doesn't matter.... as long as you grow up to be a successful person it doesn't really matter if you where homeschooled or institution schooled...

  • @ADSMLPS well I dont know what homeschooling kids you have met but all my homeschool friends are crazy and they have no trouble sociallizing but yes what you said about being successful is very true.

  • In homeschooling you can learn about science and rna and dna and astronomy and there's curriculums for that as well as dvds you can buy and have a far better chance of really learning. It does depend on the motivation of the parent, as it also depends on the motivation of the teachers in public school. It's interesting that many kids are not being taught very much in public school. Sure there are cases of homeschoolers not taught enough, but more often than not, the kids do learn more

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is absolutely awesome to hear people advocate true learning and speak their mind. Keep the positive outlooks and always remember that YOU are the ultimate in making your own decisions. 5 Stars to you all . . .

  • Homeschooling is "cool" because growth and learning is not something someone has to do to you. You certainly don't need to go to some building and have people do it to you. School is a day care center for raising vulgar, mean spirited kids who are forever struggling with boredom.

  • @prayfertrey right.....have you ever been to a school?

  • I did home school for one year and I thought that being alone would not really matter but FUCK that shit I got so FUCKING depressed, so for my sophomore and everything behind it I am going to a normal school

  • oh wow, these kids just promoted a negative sterotype, "homeschooled kids are freaks!" lol, i'm glad i came out normal, plus i have gone to two years of high school and got the taste for it, way to much drama for me.

  • Wow, have you been to a public school lately. I dont call the things I see those kids doing normal. Go read a history book if you can public school boy.

  • Brianwashed?

    lol.

  • Meant to say "Brainwashed".

    lol.

  • I agree, I'm sorry but these reasons are pathetic. "Cause I can make duct tape shoes." Guys, please. I was home schooled and sure there are plenty of perks that make it cooler than public school, but those are not the reasons we should use to promote home schooling!? You are giving the home school community a bad name. The only positive thing said in this video was the idea of not conforming and caving to peer pressure. Otherwise this is embarrasing. Home schooling is an opportunity to excel...

  • Ok Homeschooling might be good because you can learn more, but u don't get 2 be as social like 90% of homeschoolers have never even hear of aero or ae or hollister btw im not judging cuz im homeschooled and i hate it but im still socially active i have a bf i have a phone with a full keybaord and texting i have a

  • You guys are the ones that give home schooling a bad name! "I like home schooling because I get more sleep"??? Are you serious! Your reasons for home schooling are BS! One of the greatest reasons home schooling is so great is because you have the ability to learn more than most. When home schooling you learn at your own speed and you don't have to waste time waiting for the teacher to help the other students! I viewed it as a privilege and not something to take advantage of!

  • myspace i shop at hollister and play feild hockey and soccer and stuff and im just saying if homeschoolers lived in town and had cell phones and myspaces then they would be cooler..its ok 2 wear sweat pants and not like boys or listen 2 rap but im just saying...

  • YAH MAN GO HOMESCHOOLING!!!!!!!!

yes i am homeschooled and i luv it too

  • OMG - more duct tape & this one is yellow!
