Cualquiera responsable por la voladura de una avion de pasajeros, se este en guerra o no, es un terrorista y no "freedom fighter", no es obvio?? Alguien por favor puede decir cuando es esto justificado?? Y ni siquiera tuvo el valor 1. de admitir responsabilidad e irse a la clandestinadad o 2. inmolarse. Un terrorista solitario sin soporte en la isla, para mayor agravante. Lo unico que se puede decir a favor de O. B. es que el no lo hizo y estamos equivocados. Lo demas es insincero.

@iluminadita100 Decente seria decir "No se si es responsable por lo de la aerolineas, pero si lo fuera lo condenaria con vehemencia porque actos barbaricos NUNCA son justificables." Lo que hace el tipo del minuto 5:24 es diplomacia barata.  Dudo mucho que no sea culpable y eso me lo corroboro OB cuando en una entrevista despues de declararse no culpable dice que el avion era un objetivo militar pues llevaba 7 militares vinculados con Cuba y Angola. OB no acuso a Castro. Ese "trofeo" es de OB.

@iluminadita100 Sea por lo que fuera (y tu argumento es debatible), OB en el probable caso de que sea responsable por lo del avion, no tenia un frente armado en la isla, sino era un terrorista solitario. Esto hace al acto aun mas repugnante.  Si el no lo hizo, como tu pareces estar convencida, pues entonces lo que digo no aplica. De verdad que me gustaria que tuvieras la razon, porque el exilio no luce nada bien defiendo a un terrorista.

But to imply that Bay of Pigs took place against JFK's wish and without US involvement! In your scholarly opinion, why did JFK authorise the invasion plans in Feb. '61 if he was opposed to them? The invasion fleet initially sailed from New Orleans. It was escorted by US Navy destroyers. What would your hero, the peaceful John F., make of your racist language?

@thomasg74 Nothing I wrote represents any of these positions. Undermining or destroying the Cuban revolution/regime has been official US policy for 50 years now. What's there to argue about? So JFK had his reasons (Nixon). Big Deal. Bay of Pigs still couldn't have happened without the support of the US government.

@thomasg74 They weren't in office then. Forget Berlin, it's easy: Bay of Pigs took place during the reign of JFK. I know: he didn't plan it, he didn't personally land at Playa Giron; but he endorsed the invasion plan and the buggers saw it through having been trained, armed and financed by the US. When they were defeated, they returned to where they had come from: Florida. They were received with open arms because their actions mirrored the overall US strategy towards Castro's Cuba.

@thomasg74 #4. Cheers. That JFK was ultimately responsible for Bay of Pigs doesn't make him a 'warmonger'. Latin America was the US's 'backyard' where behaved as it saw fit, occupying and terrorizing countries, toppling elected governments of sovereign nations (Arbenz, Allende ...). Yet, this had little to do with wicked personal wills and intentions, it's due to structural features of domination and exploitation.

No need to praise Germans. I'm not arguing from a 'German' point of view.
