The US are a little bit too good in that game. If you get your BMPs behond a striker and fire some 30mm shells in its back, the turret moves arround and the .50 cal MG is destroying your tanks though facing the enemy with the friontal armor and then the infantry just leave the apc uninjured you really get annoyed.

Some mission seem to be impossible with the syrien forces or simply not made for them.

i think they just thougt everyone would play the US and doesnt care about such thing (although the game is very realistic it could be just a bit smoothier)

There already was a ww2 version its called Combat Mission : Beyond overlord , Combat Mission : Barbarossa to Berlin and Combat Mission : Afrika Korps

I'm waiting for the WW2 version based on the modern Combat Mission: Shock Force's game engine with better graphics. Not the old game series. I already had Combat Mission : Barbarossa to Berlin when it first came out.

That's basically theater of war.

This game is not Arma. That's a tactical shooter from a grunt's point of view. This is a strategy game from a Battalion Commander or Company Commander's point of view where make waypoints for your platoons and armored units from a bird's eyeview. If you like shooters type game, then this one isn't for you. If you're a tabletop or PC grognard/wargamer. Then this game might be for you. I'm waiting for the WW2 version of this game.

I think thats just the fps causing it to look like its rotating backwards. sometimes at the end its in the right direction
