  • Yes I will.

  • Can you retake this with your better camera?

  • Yes, I know that.

  • That was stupid, they didn't put a glass elevator in.

  • Yes, there was, and next to the logo was the name "Westinghouse."

  • So, I guess Westinghouse didn't make holeless elevators at all. Also, when did Schindler start making holeless elevators?

  • 2001

  • Thanks.

  • That is not holeless only Otis offered Holeless in the 80's, it's inground

  • Sometimes if the button is used a lot, it can turn a little, and if I do a retake of this elevator, I'll make sure the buttons are straight.

  • Interesting.

  • Usually, I look through the door crack, and usually, if the cylinder is in the middle, it's inground, but if there are 2 to the sides, then it's holeless/roped.

  • How do you tell if an elevator is holeless, roped, or inground hydraulic if it is not glass?

  • No. Barton Creek Square Mall will remain open, but Highland Mall is scheduled to close around 2010-2011.

  • Where is the floor indicator?

  • There is no floor indicator, since this is an older 2-floor indicator.

  • Yes, I think so, along with the Highland Mall Macy's. They would add a lot of aesthetic to the elevator in the open-air lobby.

  • They need a window in the elevator.

  • there is a macys in chicogo 15 storys and has windows

  • 15????!!!!

  • yea SeeGraeginatorRun has a video but 9 10 11 12 13 14 and 15 were closed for constuction and will reopen soon

  • Maybe they're 16" wide escalators, which are no longer made today, because of their cramped size.

  • I don't know, but these are large escalators, to accomdate 2 passengers standing side by side.

  • Ive seen at sears they have small escaltors they are westing house no one likes them because they are so small and they are afraid of standing too close to the edge and getting there foot caught

  • why do westinghouse make small esalators?

  • Well, the elevator is kind of old, and the doors set the bell off. Also, the buttons are manufactured by the Elevator Products Corporation, and are of very high quality.

  • What I meant was that when it first opened it didnt ding but every other time it did? Why

  • How come the bell doesn't ding when you call it, but it dings when you get to the floor?

  • Another way to tell that elevator is Westinghouse is that the outside buttons are Schindler fixtures made olny for modernized elevators. Wetsinghouse's elevator division was taken over by Schindler

  • No, these escalators did not have any nameplates, but the elevator nameplates were on the door interlocks, and that's how I could tell they were Westinghouse elevators.

  • Was there a Circle W logo on the elevator door interlock nameplates?

  • Yes, but I did the escalators, along with both directions on the elevator.

  • another kid filmded there
