FF is trying to make itself like world of warcraft.. they should keep the FF series as its own entity on consoles and make an online version and spin it off of the series.. call it Final Fantasy Forever or someshit iono lol

personally, i am pissed. first off, every new game thats coming out has a oline multiplayer, and this usually occurs in the game much worse than it could have been. second, i hard the game is $60, and then another $13 per month for online. wtf. we alredy bought the game. lastly, the xbox 360 version might b comin out late or not at all. they 'paused" the making of it because of some xbox live polocies or something. probably the $13 online fee. microsoft prob doesnt want to make there customers,

@Ghostlymerro Because, Xbox360 is retarded, and won't be able to handle the pure amazingness known as FFXIV. Not only that, but SquareEnix, SquareSoft, and even... um... whatever the last one is has been working with Sony and the PlayStation system for years and years. Putting it on the 360 would be a disgrace.

@ZehNAcc Don't be a hardcore ps3 fan-boy. I agree the ps3 is better because it has 7 cores, blue-ray , built wireless (saving you $100) it smaller more reliable and has free psn which is on par (or just a tad below) with xbox 360 but there there both great consoles and i would be happy with either.

The only Online game that appeals to me is Angels Online and thats because its 100% free. Unlike FF11 which costs £40.00 per play...
