  • To people trying to learn: Here's what I did to help myself out (I can't handstand yet). I put my legs on my bed and my hands on the ground. Then I swung my leg (and the other one after a short delay) to the position it is shown here. It doesn't do too much, but gives you a general thought how should it feel. Just make sure you have enough space around in case you fall over, I don't take any responsibillity :F

  • i can stay upto 1 minute against a walll but not more than 6 seconnds without wall

    Core strength bud. It's like pushups. Most people who want to do a lot of pushups and start can only do 5 or so before collapsing. Persist and you'll hit 20 in no time, and it just keeps getting better and better.

    Like this, you start at 5 seconds. Try to keep your balance and smooth and not shaky for that time and then after a week of trying that try to go a bit longer. Practice makes perfect!

  • @lastplacewin also just to mention the 'hold pressure'.. meaning to hold your nose just above the floor posistion until complete collapse. a good way to stress the entire muscle region. i dont mean collapse when your mind says collapse either, I mean collapse, as in your arms begin shaking and you feel your face begining to take the presure. you'll even start laughing its that sore... but hold out, helps your mind grow stronger also

  • @cahil123456 Just kick your legs harder, but not as hard as you can at first. Progress to harder kicks until you find the one that is right for you.

  • ive tried handstand inside the pool. it's much easier and eventually i learnt handstand by it. it's good for beginner. well for those who arent used to swim will find it difficult to control ur breath to prevent the water from entering ur nostrils though...

  • I won´t say it`s simple. I started B-Boying about 6 months ago and the handstand it´s the first breakpoint, you must practice lot, at the begining you won`t even get the legs high enough, then you won´t be able to stay stationary, it´s all about practice, if you want to go the other power moves you have to master this

    Tip:practice over a wall or if you have some strenght try by starting with the headstand and then going to the handstand, if you manage to stay stationary doing that, this is easy

  • Guys if your having trouble with using your hands to balance try a turtle freeze first that's how I learned

  • People who are struggling with how much to kick your leg and keeping your balance, you should try it out against a wall first so you wouldn't kick too far, and then use your abs to stay upright, just like when you stay on tiptoe you need to tighten your abs to keep your balance. Hope this helps a little. >.<

  • try and keep ur elbows straight thats the most important thing and also dont put your hands wide and do plenty of practice and u will get comfortable

  • @n1ggazking When you first start use a wall. Just do what he is doing up against a wall so you cant flip on your ass.

    The easiest way to get up in to a handstand is this method though

    1. put your back against the wall (make sure your back is very close to the wall about foot)

    2 . put you hands on the ground while still standing you can bend your knees as much as you want(frog leap position)

    3. just walk up the wall (this part is scary fyi)

    4. when your done just walk back down the wall

  • @n1ggazking Use icy hot man my but was sore from yesterday from breaking so i put it on this moring 

  • @n1ggazking you're kicking to hard. Once your leg is over you point of balance, stop. Try doing it on a wall, that helped me, man. Also, practice helps a lot, do it on grass or a mat.

    Hope this helped.
