hey this is cool... screw the haters... nothing wrong with a new take on things... if you don't like the music, watch the original movie... the music captured quite well the animosity between the ekhdal's and vargerus... gives a the effect of a duel
Don't listen to these incompitent fuckwits, Nairu. The vid's lovely, and if you want the clip without music I suggest you don't click on the page with "music video" in the title.
Incompitent fuckwits? Who do you call fuckwits? Ah, you are talking about yourself - ok!
Hi there Incompitent Fuckwit, my name is Lisa and I would like to say!
"Jag tror minsann näsan din blev längre!"
First of all - if he put up a videon on YouTube he might run the risk that someone click on it. They will probably never click on it again though - thats for sure!
Oh, right, the old "I know you are but what am I!"-reply. I thought we gave that one up back in 1996. Good to see it again.
First of all, you're on youtube. You're bound to see comments you don't like, because you're a fuckwit. Secondly, it says "Music Video". If you don't like it, I'd expect a reaction of the sort of "oh, I prefer it without music" or (dare I say it) NONE AT ALL because you don't click on stuff you don't wanna see!
Secondly this scene is one of the most brilliant perfomance that has ever been shown on a screen and he completley screw it up with some stupid music! What kind of reaction do you expect.
Absolutely fantastic! I am completely obsessed with this scene, and although I love the dramatic effect without the music I really enjoyed your work. Because its a familiar scene, your clip made me appreciate it differently, giving to it another fantastic emotion. Nostalgic and epic.
I appreciate your good intentions, but you're completely destroying the dramatic power of this scene with that music in the background! Keep the scene just as it is, it speaks by itself more than anything you can add to it, there lies Bergman's greatness, why to ruin it?
I agree. Altough I did not think that I could improve bergmans masterpiece, just make something different out of it. To bad you didnt like it, but it is made as a tribute, not an improvement. The original scene is better, but I am really happy with this little video to. I am no Bergman tough...
my brother got me the uncut, full length version for Christmas. I love Bergman's mix of supersition and religion - like a Shakespeare play - brilliant!
Det här är genialiskt.

Uhm...the music wasn't necessary. It was disturbing. Separately the movie and the music are enjoyable, but they don't go together.

it's a brilliant vid, but isn't the family called 'Ekdahl'? like the singer Lisa? Or is it just me? :-)

Hillarious scene, pitty that this scene is only on that film´s longer version. It is actually better than the shorter one :)

My favorite movie of all-time, too bad this ADHD generation we're living in will never catch on to it.

Denna fantastiska scen finns dessvärre inte med i den "korta"versionen av Fanny och Alexander utan bara i den förlängda femaktersvarianten.
