I might be doing this wrong but i cancel my ex by radpidly doubletaping the same buttons I used to call it and putting in the next move. I just joined online and these combos are possible. @noob944 certain attacks and specials ultimately lead to a combo. It varies with each character, and there is a gamemode in this game that can teach you how to do them.

@noob944 they are hard but the reason pros never do these combos is because they are worthless... there's a thing called damage scaling and that's when the first two hits do %100 damage and then the next hit does %90 and the next %80 and so on.... if you look at 8:59 just look at how much the ultra does in damage... almost none, and the ultra is supposed to be the strongest attack in the game. Street fighter is an easy to game to get into but hard to master, you should give it a try though.

@metallclaws Gouken trained Ryu, Ken and Dan. I believe Dan was expelled because he was only learning martial arts to get revenge. Gouken and Akuma(Gouki) are brothers that trained under Goutetsu. When Akuma went evil he killed Goutetsu and Gouken.

@tyzer23 The damage during combos is scaled down depending on how many hits you already did. So combos with many hits doesn't automatically mean big damage. This is a failsafe methode to prevent infinite combos as every successful hit will decrease the damage of following hits down to zero.

Like the descriptions says some are concept combos, not meant to be used in competitive play.

Yeah, Damage Reduction system. To lessen the reduction (optimizing damage), avoid using LK attacks, and LP attacks, and other moves using it. avoid also MP and MK attacks. As much as possible, try using only HP and HK like they are only available buttons during your combo. Of course, you can use MP and MK for focus cancels and LP and LK for the Ultra Combo. And remember always, as the number of Hits increases, the damage you nail into your opponent decreases.
