I can't really express how I felt for the little boy since me too have been struggling w/ a disability.But really this movie moved me into TEARS, not only of sadness but of happiness because he really had overcomed his disabilty.Thanks to his art teacher who really understood him because he is also had the same difficulty as w/ the boy before.I really LOVE this part!!!I can't help but SHED tears.....I hope the producer-director make movies with SENSE much more....A FIVE STAR EXCELLENCE!!!!!

at 6:37: the older lady whom the teacher calls HIS GURU. In the extras she said that when she first met Aamir khan she was bowled over by his looks and told him" oh my you are so good looking' She said even today when she thnks about that she feels so foolish for saying that ...esp at her age.....:)

the family walks towards their car after saying their goodbyes. as Ishan reaches the car, he turns back and runs towrds the teacher.... The teacher reaches for him , catches him and throws him playfully in the air...ThATS How it ends. I bought the dvds with the extras. was disappointed bec. a few lovely scenes were cut .. disappointing. aamir khan GIVES his reasons... :(
