I was working at Magic Kingdom at the time and we had a special party in the park just for us after the park was closed. Hence the special treatment with the lights being on and they were playing around with different music which was pretty awesome having Star Wars music for a change. Too bad I didn't get on camera that Captain Jack Sparrow was in the car in front of me in full costume!

honestly, do you think of all the hundreds of people that ride space mountain one person asks to turn the lights on? they wouldn't turn the lights on just for one person because they are asking.
Yes, I agree even though this Space mountain is okay, it definetley needs some changes. The final re-entry tunnel is LMAO. The one in disneyland is alot better.
They are changing it, there changing the re entry tunnel making it like diney, i think they are adding a soundtrack, puttiong in new cars, and best of all upgrading the effects
Space Mountain at WDW will finaly get Rehabed this April 09 The changes to Space mountain will include. Track replacements, A Redesigned queue. And repairs to the ceiling The rehab will be done by the end of the year or early 2010
